"Is it far to your house?" Henry asked as we were walking towards the bus stop.

"Not really. It's four stops with the bus and my house is pretty close from the bus stop so about 15 minutes the whole trip," I said and looked up at him. Only now I noticed how tall he was. He smiled at me again.

"Are your parents at home?" He asked me with that smile on his face. But he didn't ask that just because he wanted to do something sexual with me, I could see that, he was just curious. I stared at him for a second, but then I shifted my gaze and looked in front of me.

"No," I said.

"Are they still at work?" He asked me and I could feel his eyes on me.

"My mom often goes overseas for work. She's a fashion designer. Currently she's in Italy. And my dad goes out drinking with his friends pretty much every night. I only see him in the mornings if at all. He's taking the opportunity of my mom not being around to meet his friends. He won't be back today for sure, because tomorrow is the weekend," I explained to him.

"Do you have any siblings?"

"No."

"Then you must get really lonely," he said and put his arm over my shoulder, "poor you."

"Yeah. I get lonely," I admitted, "I actually hate being alone. That's why Jake used to come every Friday to keep me company. We would watch a movie and play games, but ever since he got a girlfriend he's bailing on me," I looked up at him in the eyes. "Thanks for coming," I said and smiled. "I really didn't want to be alone today."

"No problem," he said and smiled. His smile was very warm and for some reason it made me feel safe.

On our way to my house we were walking on the side of the road. The road was pretty narrow. As the car was passing by Henry grabbed me by my shoulder and pushed me away from the car.

"Be careful. Let's switch places," he said and once again I looked up at him. He looked somewhat manly.

"How cool. You know how to protect a girl," I said and laughed. We reached my house so we went in. "Come in," I invited him inside and we took off our shoes. "Go sit down," I motioned him to the sofa in the living room. "Do you want some tea? I'll make you some," I said and went inside the kitchen. "You can pick a movie. The TV remote should be on the table."

"Okay, what do you want to watch?" He asked me.

"You pick since you're here for the first time. You have the advantage as the guest."

"Alright then. Do you like action movies?"

"I love them! It's my favorite movie genre."

"Really? Awesome! Let's watch..." he made a pause as he was searching for a movie "... Transformers!"

I laughed as I was walking in the living room with two cups of tea in my hands. "Sure, let's watch it," Henry took the cups from my hands and put them on the coffee table. "Thanks," I said and sat down on the ground. Henry sat down right next to me, leaving no space between us, but I didn't mind. We started watching the movie and commented it here and there. Somewhere in the middle of the movie Henry said something, but I didn't understand so I turned my head to him.

"What did you say?" I asked him and saw that he was also facing me and looking at me. Our faces were really close. He didn't reply, but instead he decided to move even closer. I started to retreat to the side, but he was still moving closer. His gaze was flickering between my eyes and my lips. I thought I was going to be kissed by him, but I didn't dislike the idea of that, but as I was retreating I hit the coffee table with my back and the tea spilled. He finally broke his gaze from my eyes and looked up at the spilled tea.

"Oh no, the tea spilled. We need to clean it up. Do you have any paper towels?" he asked me so casually that I actually wondered if anything really happened just now. It took me a few seconds to snap back to the reality.

"Yeah, I have some in the kitchen, I'll go get them." I said and stood up. As I stepped the first step I almost fell down. Henry snickered at me and I got really embarrassed. "My legs fell asleep," I lied, but Henry didn't believe me either.

"Yeah, sure," He said and laughed some more. I took the paper towels from the kitchen and cleaned up. We watched the rest of the movie while drinking the left over tea.
