Gravity (August Alsina)

Chapter 1

"Is that it ma'am" the lady asked from the McDonalds speaker. "That'll be all" I answered as she stated my total.

I thanked her and drove toward the window to pay and grab my food. I drove to the parking lot to eat and opened my bag to make sure they had all I had ordered. "She didn't even put my burger in this bitch" I mumbled to myself and shook my head. I hopped out of the car and slammed my door and glanced at the all white Porsche that was parked. "Damn.. he must be getting his shit right" I said as I was walking to the front entrance. I opened up the door, walked inside to the cashier and gave them my recite and spoke. "They didn't give me my burger" I stated as the lady looked at me with an apologetic look and grabbed the bag and put the burger inside. "I'm so sorry about that ma'am" "Yeah" I rolled my eyes and made my way out the door when I accidentally bumped into a tall figure. "I'm sorry ma" he said with a thick accent "It's....-" I paused as I looked up at his beautiful lips and up to his eyes "-okay."

He had his hand rested on my elbow so he can fix my balance and smirked. "You good?" He asked with a smirk still planted on his lips. I quickly brushed passed him slightly embarrassed. I heard him call after me as I quickly made my way to my car unlocking it. "Hey ma" he finally caught up to my paste I quickly glanced at him. "You forgot this" He said lifting up my food bag. "Thanks" I said plainly opening up my door and hopping inside, as I was about to close my car door he stopped my movements, "Gimme a call" he stated with another smirk. I smiled but then realized I didn't even have his number. "I don't even have-" I sighed as he already made his way to his car. I was actually impressed to see him get in the car I glanced at as I was walking inside to get my burger. I shook my head and finally closed my car door about to open my food when I was stopped by a paper that was taped to it. I chuckled as I read August and under it read his number. I smiled and shook my head and backed out of the parking lot to head home.

I walked up the porch steps, unlocked the front door, and walked inside closing the door behind me turning the locks on it. I walked over to the couch and sat down laying my purse next to me taking my nude heels off. I let out a long breath and leaned back finally relaxing from a long ass day. My phone had vibrated letting me know I had a call.

ME: "Hello"

CIARA: "hey girl, you know me and Kay going out tonight.. you trynna come ??"

I thought for a minute.

ME: " I'm down but where are we going"

CIARA: "The zone .. so we'll pick you up at 8"

ME: "I'll be ready."

I hung up the phone and looked at the time that said 6:20 so I quickly ran up the steps and walked into my master bedroom. I looked in my closet to find something to wear tonight and found the perfect outfit to match my nude nails. I smirked. "Yassss" I mumbled to myself and started looking through my heels. I found some fancy nude heels I bought the other day and walked to my bathroom to take a quick shower.

I turned on the water and waited for it to get warm.

As it got warm I took off my clothes I had on for the day and got inside. Once I was done I got out and dried myself off and blow dried my long curly black hair that reached to the half of my back. I took off my towel I had wrapped around my body and put lotion on and put on my dress and heels I picked out for the club. I walked back inside the bathroom and curled my hair carefully. Once I was done I had started on my makeup.

I walked back inside my bedroom and checked the time on my phone which was 7:50 so Ciara should be at my door any minute.

I quickly walked to my closet to pick out a matching mini purse to hold my cash and phone. Once I was finished I walked back to my bathroom to make sure my make up was alright and fluffed my hair I grabbed my big gold bracelet and slit it on when I heard my door bell ring. I walked out my bathroom grabbed my mini purse that had my stuff inside and quickly walked down the stairs to the front door. I opened it and smiled once I seen Ciara and Kay standing there "Giiiiirrl you look bomb" Kay said in his ghetto voice as I shook my head and chuckled and walked outside taking out my keys and locking the door behind me and walked to Ciara's car. We all got inside buckled our seatbelts and drove to the club.
