Chapter 5

I stared at the designs for weddings I was planning blankly throwing each one I didn't like in a separate pile. I ended up with one after debating with the two. Leaning back in my chair relaxing and rubbing my temples at the same time, I huffed and slipped back on my flip flops since I took them off earlier.
** Half an hour later **

I decided on packing up early since I was tired and wasn't feeling up to anything. I had told Kay and Ciara I had other plans which they think Is with August but lowkey I want time to myself.

I walked up the cobblestone path while grabbing my keys ready to unlock the door. I unlocked it and closed the door after I got inside before walking up he stairs yawning. I made it up to my room and slipped off my flip flop and undressed out of my clothes grabbing a big T-shirt and huff socks. I made my hair in a messy bun leaving strands of baby hair laying everywhere. I walked up to my bed getting ready to let lose until I heard the doorbell ring. I had a puzzled look on my face making my way down the stairs.

I looked through the peep hole and saw it was August. I opened the door with the puzzled look still on m face. I was happy he was here but still upset about that phone call. I don't know why he would have a girl and still try to get at me. I just felt all the way disrespected. "Yes?" I raised my brow. "Damn, no hello" he said with his hands in his pockets. "Well I just thought you wouldn't want a hello because you probably got enough from your girl" "Is that what this is about?? My girl" he folded his arms. "Yup" he raised both of his brows. "Oh really?"
"Well how about if I told you that my girl I was talking to was my daughter" I froze feeling a flash of embarrasment though my body. I wish wouldn't have assumed it was his girl friend or baby mama.
I opened my mouth to say something but he quickly interrupted me. "Don't even. Its fine" he chuckled. I looked down and took a deep breath. "I came over here because you had me worried with the no answering my phone calls, I thought something was goin on, luckily it wasn't" he spoke. "Yeah.. Sorry" I looked up and laughed a little.

"You was about to go to sleep I see" he smirked. "How did you know" he pointed to my big T-shirt that only raised to the half of my ass. I tried to pull it down more as I heard him chuckle and step inside. "Come in" I said sarcastically. I folded my arms as I watched him plop on the couch. I shook my head and finally closed the door.

He grabbed the remote and started flipping through channels as I sat over to where he was sitting and grabbed the remote out his hand. I flipped the channel to Empire. He looked at me silly and I crossed my legs leaning into him randomly. He put his arm around me and smirked. "I like this.." I looked up at him and realized he was already looking down at me. "What" I quickly looked down. "I like spending time wit you" I smiled and continued to watch the show and so did he. I don't know what August was doing to me but he made me feel like I knew him. I know we knew each other for a short period of time but I think he could be the one. He makes me smile.

I stepped out of my Benz and closed the door before locking it making my way to my job feeling happy from last night. After Empire went off I fell asleep on August's shoulder not even knowing until he woke me up at 5 in the morning. He told me he had to go because he needed to be at the studio at 9.

I waked into my office and smiled once I seen Kay typing on her computer and Ciara typing on her phone. "Hello everyone" I practically screamed making Kay look over at me. "Oh hey bitch... I got some papers for yo happy hour ass" Kay pointed but just leaving Ciara in her silence. "What's up with her" I frowned walking up to Kay's desk to get the file of papers. "Oh she got into a arguement wit her dark ass boyfriend" she rolled her eyes "kay will you ever shut up" ciara whined as kay waved her hand as my frown deepened. "Wait why y'all arguin" I leaned on Kay's desk. "Because he crashed my damn car" My brows shot open. "Your new Porche??" She nodded her head yes. "Girl hell yeah" she shook her head. "We'll why don't you talk to him on the phone or in person don't be a thumb soldier" "She is right" Kay clapped his hands as I rolled my eyes ignoring him. Ciara sighed and dialed his number. She waited for him to pick up and after the third ring hr answered. "Now talk it out with him" I motioned for her to talk as I grabbed the file of papers and walked to the elevator that led to my office. I pressed the button and waited patiently for it to ring. It finally rang and got in pressing my number and headed up to my office. I huffed once I got there and grabbed my key the door getting ready to open it. I opened the door and got in cousin the door behind me. I sat the files down on my desk making my way around it to get inside.
