The forest of Abadeer

All of a sudden a swoosh of wind startled Kaley. She began walking faster as she knew she was being followed. Another bigger swoosh came around her back and all of a sudden a curious-looking man was staring right at her. "And just what is a woman like you doing in the forest?" The man asked. "I'm not answering anything to a man I don't know," Kaley stated while she crossed her arms. "Well, then we'll have to take you to the queen." He said, "Wha--!" Kaley mumbled as he and his men covered her face and threw her onto their wagon.

Kaley tried to scream and complain while the men were silent and just pushed and pulled the wagon. The men took her to a place in the forest that had different colored trees around and fairies flying every which way. The man from before began to speak, "Ruby. We have found someone... An outsider of the forest. Would you like to see it?" Ruby groaned. "Okay." She sighed as the men began to lift her up and to show Ruby. Ruby looked at the princess in awe as she was the most beautiful woman she has seen. "Baako...! YOU DUMMY! UNTIE HER!" Baako looked shocked as he took the piece of cloth they placed around her mouth off and the rope they tied around her arms off. Baako backed up and rolled his eyes.

Ruby got up from the thorn she sat on and walked towards the wagon. "Here let me help you." She took Kaley's hand to help her get off the wagon. Kaley had a slight blush on her face but tried not to show it as she didn't even know the woman and why she had grey skin tone. "Who are you?" Kaley asked, trying to keep herself together. "Uhh..." Ruby was in shock as she got a closer look at Kaley and her face lit up. Baako smirked as he snapped in front of Ruby. Ruby snapped out of it. "Oh! Um. I'm Queen Ruby of the Forest of Abadeer." She smirked

"Well then," Kaley said with a slight shock as she hasn't heard of her. "Queen Ruby---" Ruby cut her off. "Please call me Rue." As she got down on her knee and took Kaley's hand and kissed it. "My Queen.." One of her guards said as they tapped her shoulder. Ruby hissed at the guard and showed her fangs as she didn't mean to but she couldn't help it. Kaley turned her head a bit to see Ruby's fangs. She jumped back. Ruby got up and looked at Kaley worried. "Huh? But- But I thought all... all vampires died a long time ago..! HOW!?" Ruby looked down. "A lot did die but not every one of them." She glanced over at Baako as he showed his fangs too. Kaley got more scared.
