Hours past when we were finally able to move. It was like we were holding in a breath. When we let it out we were able to move. What ever the thing was that let out that weird mist had to have been what made us freeze. But what was it? What did they put in the air to freeze time? What ever it was, it was dry.
Bethiebaby came over to me and huged me. I was glad that she huged me because I needed the support. She knew I needed it too. We looked at the group for a while trying to get our minds clear. It worked to a certain point. "I think we should start walking more before daylight runs out." Kitty Klaws said. She was right. We do need to keep going. We have a few hours left of light, maybe even less now.
We walked for a while. Not really talking much. I think we were too scared to talk. Too caught up in our thoughts. Or maybe we were just shocked. So many things happened that our brains can't handle at once. Why? Because our brains don't work like that. Our memories arent adapted for that. Memory is a very hard thing to understand. And yet I can't let go of memories that I don't want. Memories that are hard on me to relive every time something triggers it. God I hate my memory.
I was cold. Not just my skin, but inside too. I had a deep shiver going from my skin to the inside of my body. Bethiebaby holding me wasn't helping me either. She was cold too. Everyone was cold. It felt like it was going to snow. Maybe it was. But how could it drop from warm weather to feezing cold. I looked up and the clouds were whiteish grey. Yeah, snow fall very soon. We arnt even ready for snow. We don't have the things for snow. Crap. We are going to die. Maybe from invaders coming in the middle of the night. maybe from the snow. Either way, we're going to die. I'm surprised we made it this far. We could have been killed while we slept weeks ago. Yet we have made it. Hell we've even stayed alive and gotten new people after the fight. We've won. Well the first fight that is. I know there will be more because we haven't found the leader. We've only found a bunch of drones...and we kicked their asses!
"Babe...babe..Famousblood!" Bethiebaby snapped her fingers in my face. I am not paying attention today. That's the 2nd time anyone has done that to me. What is wrong with me?
"omg do I have to say your full name?!" Beth yelled.
"I'm sorry. I'm not doing so good today. What's up?" I said.
"Hun you've been spacing out for hours now. What's wrong?" I know she's worried about me. I can hear it in her voice and see it on her face.
"Babe did you hear me?" She asked. Crap I'm doing it again.
"Did you say something?" I asked.
"I'm worried." She said. My point proven.
Something caught my (very short) attention. I heard something run behind me. It had to be small, I didn't see it. But on the ground I saw something shine. The sun was hitting something just right to shine a small light. I walked over to it. It was about 2 feet away. If only the sun wasn't shining on the object, i would be able to see it. Just as I thought that the sun moved. But there was nothing there. In the background I could hear Bethiebaby and Vampire Venom yelling at me. Or was that just my mind playing tricks on me? That would make since right. What if this was my mind telling me I was crazy. I was mentally unstable. I'm seeing things.
I walk back to the group and see that they are all looking at me. All but moved away from me.
"Babe what happened to you?" Bethiebaby asked.
"I really don't know." I gave Bethiebaby a blank look. What did happen to me. I didn't realize it until my mind came back into focus. Bethiebaby was hugging me. I felt warm. Her warmth was spreading through out me. I phisically felt it. My skin was warm. I wasn't cold. I didn't have goose bumps on my arms. Then mentally felt it. My heart was warm. I had a smile on my face. I was happy. My life was whole again. Then she was gone. It was like she dissolved into thin air.
"What did you do to her?" I heard Kitty Klaws ask.
"I don't know. Nothing that I know of." I said. Suddenly I heard her.
"Aroura I'm fine." The voice said.
"Did you guys here that?" I asked.
"Hear what?" said Vampire Venom.
"you didn't hear the voice that sounded like Bethiebaby?" I was panicking now.
"Guys you've got to be joking. It was loud." I said.
"No one heard what you heard!" Vampire Venom yelled. Sometimes I think she hates me.
