The Search

*feels hungry because of taco smells* I LIVE A LIFE THAT'S FULL OF FUN!!!! IT KEEPS ME SHARP AND ON THE RUN!!!! WHEN EVIL COMES, I FIND A WAY TO USE MY FORCE AND SAVE THE DAY!!!!

[Marinette POV]

I put the finishing touches on my newest design and held it up to admire it.

"MARINETTE!!! FELIX IS HERE!!!" Papa bellowed from the living room. I put my sketchpad down and opened my trapdoor.

Felix raced in and turned to me with tears rolling down his cheeks. I looked at him worriedly. I've never seen Felix cry before.

"What's wrong Felix?" I asked as I shut my trapdoor.

"Adrien's missing!!" My stomach dropped to the floor in fear and dread.

"Adrien... missing...? How... why...?" I shook my head to gain focus. I pulled down my copy of Adrien's schedule and studied it. "Adrien might have gone to the animal shelter, to Nino's house, or..." I trailed off as I started thinking.

"Or what?" Felix asked.

"Or maybe the one place I've never followed Adrien into," I explained and got out my phone.

"What are you doing?" Felix asked, watching me press Alya's contact on my phone.

"I'm getting the best reporter we know to help us," I told him as I waited.

"She's the only reporter we know," Felix reasoned.

"I actually know Nadja Chamack," I told him and Alya answered.

"Hey, girl!! What's up?!" Alya greeted me as she appeared on the screen.

"Alya, Adrien's missing!!!" I told her. "I've got a few places in mind, but I want your input." Alya nodded.

"What are your suspicions, girl?" Alya asked seriously.

"Adrien usually sneaks off to the animal shelter because he enjoys helping the animals, mainly the cats!! Plus, Master Fu is like a father to Adrien. He might seek him out for advice," I reasoned as I wrote the address on a sticky note. Alya nodded in agreement.

"But, he might have gone to Nino's because Nino is his best friend!! Nino would do anything to help a friend and he tries to understand Adrien the best he can!!" I wrote Nino's address under the animal shelter's.

"That does make sense," Alya agreed. "Or..." I trailed off.

"What is it?" Alya asked. I sighed.

"There's this place that Adrien has gone to, but I've never seen anyone else go there before. He might not want someone there if he tries to make sure that he isn't seen!" I told her. Alya nodded.

"But, that might be one of the most meaningful places he has and that's where he probably went," Alya reasoned. I sighed and wrote the address of the mysterious place that Adrien went to.

"I'll try every place and if we don't find him... I'm going to panic," I said as I ripped off the sticky note.

"I'll go to Nino's and check," Alya offered. I smiled.

"Thanks, Al," I replied. "Text me if you find him." Alya nodded and I ended the call. I turned to a calmer Felix.

"Do you recognize this address?" I asked as I handed him the sticky note. Felix inspected it and shook his head.

"I've never seen or been to this place," he told me. I sighed.

"Then you take the animal shelter," I instructed him. "I'll take the mysterious address."

[No one POV]

Nathalie was making phone calls left and right from her office, but no one had seen Adrien. But, she never gave up.

Alya put on her orange coat with white buttons, her black scarf, and her black gloves. She walked to Nino's and knocked on the door. Nino answered and Alya asked about Adrien. But, Nino hadn't seen Adrien since Nathalie and the Gorilla busted him and Felix at the animal shelter. Nino hurriedly put on his dark green vest, his dark green scarf, and his dark green gloves and searched with his crush for his best friend.

Felix walked into the animal shelter in his dark gray coat and asked Wang Fu about Adrien. But, Wang Fu hadn't seen Adrien since he got caught at his animal shelter. Wang Fu put on his light red coat with white buttons, his light red scarf, his white gloves, and his white cap and searched with Felix for his dear friend.

Soon, Adrien's whole class found out that he was missing and searched for him, but came up with nothing. They didn't give up, even when it started snowing.

Marinette walked in her red coat with black buttons and black spots, her black scarf, her red gloves with black spots, and her red beanie with black spots. She pulled her scarf tighter around her face as the snow started to come down.

She stopped in front of a tall gate that just happened to be open. Marinette took a deep breath and stepped in.

I can't believe that all of this is happening because Adrien wanted to help animals!!!!
