Chapter Three Missing Items

DEXTER'S POV

We make our way up to the attic and continue our search. Before the outgoing seniors/Sibuna members left,
Eddie told us that he left behind some essential items to help us in the upcoming school years. Honestly, we had no idea where or what these items where...

Eddie had us meet in the woods after graduation with the other Sibuna members. It was time for our initiation, he told us. We each brought our favorite items, Cassie brought a poster of One Direction, Erin brought her favorite book, Paper Towns, and I brought my lucky coin I got from the Bahamas. Together we took the pledge and threw our items into the fire. "Welcome to Sibuna! We, meaning me and Fabian, took the chance to hide
some essential items that will help greatly in your journey's throughout the House of Anubis. Your first mission is to find these items. The locket," he said "will grant you access to secret tunnels if used by the correct person. The Sun and Moon keys open up to the Crypt and the Gatehouse and pack some serious protection. The amulets grant access into the tunnels in the cellar. OH THE CELLAR!" Eddie shouted and walks out of the woods followed by the other Sibunas. We walk back to Anubis House and make our way into the cellar. Patricia walks over the bookcase on the wall and points the "8" looking design. "The passcode is 1890." She turns the dials and the bookcase opens up and leads into the Antechamber. We all stare in awe. "Welcome to Sibuna... Your first mission is to find the items."

"Look here guys! I found something!" Cassie half-whispered and me and Erin walked over to her. She is holding up a piece of paper. The paper reads:

"You helped us with the Touchstone,
The next clue is under the stairs,
This journey cannot be done alone,
Be careful of the dark in RFS's Lair."

We stare at the paper re-reading it over and over. "Okay so the items are under the stairs... That's easy enough. Who is RFS and where is his lair?" I ask. "Let's start the search tomorrow night." I grab the paper and fold in up in my pocket. I say my goodbyes to the girls and make my way downstairs to my
room. Thank god Jake is still asleep or I would've been caught big time! I
climb into bed and get ready for the weekend tomorrow.

I wake up late and see that Jake is already awake. I get changed into jeans and a t-shirt. I make sure to transfer the note in my pocket walk to breakfast. I grab a seat next to Erin and Cassie on the couch and start watching TV. Jake, Arisa and Calista walk in. "Hey guys," Jake says. "We are going to the movie's in a couple hours. The Interview finally premiered and we wanna check it out. Anyone interested?" Me, Erin and Cassie shake our heads. We are going to use this weekend to continue the search for the next clue and RFS's lair. I pull out my phone and check the weather. "You guys better get going or you'll be late."

JAKE'S POV

I nod to Dexter's remark bend down to tie my shoe. I finish tying the Converse's laces and see a small piece of paper sticking out from under the couch. I pocket it without anyone seeing and stand up. "Thanks Dex, we better get going." The girls nod and we make our way out the schoolgrounds and wait for the bus. I pull out the note and show the girls. "What's a Touchstone?" "What clues?" "Who is RFS?" we all ask at the same time. I give a mischievous grin, "Well well...
looks like we have a mission." We cancel our plans for the movies and go to the computer lab at the school. Calista forged Trudy's signature and we got in without any questions asked. We spent about an hour researching. We finally made a breakthrough. "Well, according to the British Museum, the Touchstone of Ra is believed to be used to build the Pyramid of Ra and grants the builder and eternal riches and power." Arisa says. I nod and continue researching. Finally a thought struck my mind. "Isn't weird that a mysterious note about an Egyptian artifact is found in our house named after an Egyptian god?" I ask. The girls take this into consideration and Calista changes her course of research to the House and its owners the Frobisher-Smythes. Calista finds out that the owner of the House, and it's builder's name is Robert Frobisher-Smythe. "Wait... Robert Frobisher Smythe... RFS!" she exclaims and we all let out a triumphant roar! Mr. Sweet walks in the room. "Your housemom, Trudy, called... you were not permitted into the school! GET OUT!" he shouts as we make our way out the room. I forget my pack in the room and turn back to get it. Mr. Sweet is looking at the computer's we used. "The Touchstone and Frobisher? Oh I thought the danger was over when Eddie left..." he says worriedly and a walk away without getting my hat. First the weird Egyptian connections now the teachers even know about some
king of danger... This school gets weirder and weirder.
