Richie slowly walked into the lingerie store with Eddie by his side. They took 3 steps in and Richie was already about to bail. "This was a mistake. I can't do this." Richie turned to walk out but Eddie caught his shoulders and turned him back around. "We are gonna do this Richie. I come here all the time and they are 100% okay with guys shopping here too." Eddie reassured.

Richie looked like he was about to vomit and pass out just by walking in the store. "But what if I do this and they don't even like it?" Richie tried. Eddie just rolled his eyes and looked at his friend. "Didn't you and Ben have a conversation about this? And aren't you the one who wants to wear it?"

"I mean yeah, but this doesn't make this any easier Eds." Richie argued back. Before Eddie could respond a boy walked up to them and offered a smile to the pair. "Hi welcome to The Lace Place. Can I help you guys find anything today?" Eddie smiled back and shook his head. "No we're just looking."

The worker nodded and looked from Eddie to the nervous Richie. "Well my name's Bill, so just call me if you need anything." He then gave one last glance to Richie and walked away. "See," Eddie patted Richie's back, "totally okay."

Eddie began leading Richie to different racks and displays with different sets and pieces. It wasn't long before Something actually caught Richie's attention.

"Hey Eds," Eddie stopped looking through the underwear and turned to look at Richie. "What's that?" He then pointed to a mannequin that was dressed in a black lingerie set and it was definitely cute.

Eddie eyed it for a second then shrugged. "I have no idea, but that's really cute. You should try it on." Eddie concluded. Richie looked at it for a few more seconds then nodded. "Yeah."

Eddie called over Bill and asked to try on the set (since Richie was still a little nervous.). Bill was quick to find a set that he thought would fit Richie and lead them to the fitting rooms.

When they arrived Bill unlocked a door and let Richie walk in before leaving to help at the front. Eddie sat in a chair that was placed in front of the room and waited for Richie to show him.

"I don't know how I feel." Richie spoke from behind the door. Eddie sighed. "Let me see it Richie, I doubt you look bad." Eddie encouraged his friend. A soft click came from the door and Richie slowly stepped out wearing the set.

"You look fucking amazing Richie!" Eddie nearly screamed. Richie blushed heavily and huffed out a laugh. "You're just saying that." Richie sighed as he looked at the ground. "Richie Tozier, I will slap you into 1936 if you ever doubt yourself again. You look sexy as hell and Ben will love it." Eddie was now holding Richie's face in his hands to make sure they kept eye contact.

Richie smiled and nodded. When they pulled away Bill walked back in to make sure things were okay. "Hey guys is everything okay?" He asked sweetly. Eddie smiled and nodded enthusiastically. "Yes. We'll take this, by the way." Eddie answered before Richie could protest.

Bill smiled and nodded and walked back to the register for when the pair was ready. "Get changed so we can get out of here. I'm hungry. Richie laughed at his friend and went back inside to change back into his normal clothes.

When Richie got home he noticed that Ben's car wasn't in the driveway which gave him enough time to put the bag away in his closet. He quickly opened the door and went inside and walked straight to their bedroom. He opened his closet and placed the bag on the top shelf behind some shoeboxes.

A few days later Richie had come home from work after Ben so he walked in ready to be greeted, but that didn't happen.

Usually when he got home Ben was sitting in the living room ready to greet him with a kiss and cuddles. Even if they weren't in the living room they would come out of the room they were in and do the same thing.
