Chapter 28

This is too sudden.

I gripped my clothes as Arias led me back to his cabin, his right arm was gently placed on my fragile waist, keeping me steady. It was as if Arias can sense how nervous I am that I could fall in any moment.

But can you blame me?

I glanced from my shoulder to find Austin glaring at the Arias's arm, claiming his mate in front of him.

Just by the look on his face, it was obvious how badly he wanted to kill the Alpha, but Austin was smart enough to know how to stay alive, still...

Why would you agree to this?

"You sleep on the floor. "

Arias pointed on the bare wooden floor, which was already cold against my feet, and I looked up at Austin, worriedly.

"W-we can request for another-" I closed my mouth immediately, when Arias look at me.

I stiffened a bit and he smiled.

"Good idea, or maybe he can just leave-"

"I'll take the floor. " Austin said, as if he could really sleep on this cold floor without freezing to death.

My lips formed a thin line as I stare at him, worriedly.

He better just leave.

I thought, but his eyes were dead-serious and I could only shake my head on how stubborn he was.

"We better go to sleep. " I said, slowly heading towards the bed without giving my mate any care.

He wants it, then let him be.

This won't make any difference anyway. It's not like this would change my mind-

A gasp left my lips when a hand, roughly pushed me on the bed. 

"W-wait!" I stared at Arias with wide eyes, when he turned me around to face him. "Arias?"

"Who said we're going to sleep? We have a visitor to entertain Cole. "

My eyes widen more. 

What is he saying? I caught a glimpse of Austin turning red behind Arias and I started to get scared from the situation.

He wouldn't do it, would he?

"W-we can't." I barely let that out, as my hand tried to push the heavy man off of me from his chest. But he stayed still, his eyes burning, but not with lust. I bit my lower lip under his stares.

Arias was never this aggressive. Did I mistaken? Was he really mad at me for leaving? Or...

A growl from another Alpha male echoed in the room and I turned my head to look at my furious mate.

Was it because my real owner was in the same room.

"Let him go. "

I shivered from that. Austin's voice was low and stern, he completely know where he stands, but Arias was exactly the same.

Even though I'm expecting for this to happen, would it be better if it did not.

The stronger man let out a chuckle, not moving from his spot on top of me, and I worry from what's going to happen next.

"What's the difference of mating with Cole behind your back with your approval, and doing it in front of you, Alpha? " He daunted my mate and I clenched my fist.

I don't want this.

"Enough-"

"The difference? " Austin interrupted me and my chest clenched in fear. "I'm not the same anymore, and I'm close enough to slit your throat if you continue. " He took a step forward and Arias smirked as he move away from me to face Austin.
