Gon never misses the smooth strum across his green glimmering guitar when the notes and upbeat loudly in his ears. Screaming crowds going wild for their ongoing performance that felt like an eternity. The best feeling.

Watching his other friends play the drums and the bass, but his eyes set for the one singer who had a crush on since debut. No other than their best lead vocal singer Killua himself. Singing at beautiful harmonies sounding like an angel from above. Blessing everyone's ears.

Who wouldn't fall for someone so beautiful and talented? Must be blind thinking he's unattractive in any way. Those luminous blue shining brightly with pure happiness and confidence when singing in front of the crowd. White hair bouncing around whenever he edges closer to stage edge to clap his fans desperate waiting hands.

He never seen Killua so happy and stress free on stage like there's nothing else happening in the world besides his band mates and fans he considers family.

Gon considered everyone family, eventually one becoming his lover.

But the only downside is harming their career of coming out as gay. Gon doesn't even know Killua is gay or bi ever since they first met. Because it didn't matter at first, but now, standing on a stage, it suddenly hits him.

Harder than a water bottle hitting his face from the crowd.

He shakes his head violently as if shaking off the dreadful sweat and focuses on the music without anyone noticing.

That's what he thought at first.

"Hey Gon, you alright? You've been off lately ever since the show was over." Killua asks, pacing to Gons' seat on the couch beside him in the break room with water in hand.

Gon nearly jumps off the sudden entrance and question all the same. He gives what is a convincing smile before he answers. "Yeah, I'm just tired. Been lacking in sleep. No worries." He grunts when a fist hits his shoulder.

"What was that for?" Gon pouts in whiny voice while rubbing his shoulder. Killua merrily rolls his eyes.

"I told him to go to bed earlier before practice. You're just too damn stubborn." He scolds, voice unimpressed and still clearly worried. Eyes trained on Gons' that do have some dark circles below. Remembering when washing his earlier in the bathroom and doesn't bother trying to hide them.

"Sorry, I'll try better next time." Gon promised with a nod, nerves a tad wrecked.

Killua huffs. "You better. Hey, I better get going to practice my vocals. Go get some rest or else I'll send the parents over." He warns.

"You better not."

"Then go get some rest, idiot."

"Fine." Gon deflates in defeat. As expected from his leader.

  "Good. See you tomorrow."

Sleeping has never been this difficult before.

Rolling and tossing all over his bed sheets. Overthinking every bit of the moment with Killua to see if he acted any differently with both genders around them when interviewed. Every moment together of practicing their performance on a stage before the real show.

Anything. Anywhere. Doesn't matter. He wants to remember every little detail but his head started to hurt and thinks to just give up when a knock was heard at the door of his studios dorm room.

There were no staff being heard to be called out for whatever they needed. He groggily walks over to the door quietly to see through the door hole. Gon froze when seeing a familiar puff of white hair and blue eyes looking off to the side patiently.

Gon wonders if he should just pretend he's sleeping. Though his plans quickly diverted when Killua spoke out firmly.

"I know you're still awake. The shuffling says otherwise." He faces the peep hole knowing Gon is waiting on the other side. Gon knows better to let him wait and opens the door.

"You look like shit. Sure you're alright?" Alerted when first seeing Gon who stepped aside and stepped inside afterwards. Letting the door click, the silence was overwhelming standing in the hallway. It was suffocating. This isn't a good time. Especially having an existential crisis and revelation.

Gon did feel like shit. Rubbing a sore hand over his tired face, groaning. "Thank you for noticing. I wish you didn't. It's embarrassing."

"Well, I need to make sure my bandmates are in good condition and not dying in their own room." Killua says worryingly, no hint of sarcasm. Just concerned and fondness in his tone. It made Gon feel even more guilty.

"I know, I'm sorry, the world isn't being fair tonight. Putting me in a difficult position and self doubt. I'm sorry for worrying you, Killua." He says and quickly quips before Killua adds to the very ambiguous statement.

"What are you doing here anyway? I thought you were gonna go to bed too." Killua didn't seem appreciative when the topic changed but lets it slide, for now.

"I was passing by to talk to some staff about the production of our new song. Thought I'd stop by to make sure you are okay. Even our friends are worried too. You wanna talk about it." The last sentence felt like a demand more than a question.

The friend part did make his heart sting a little. Gon guesses he didn't hide his poorly weakened state at the end of the show after all, he gives them credit for being scarcely perceptive.

Gon lamely shrugs. "Nothing but lame excuses to deter my performance, including your well being. Can we just sleep?" He makes a move to head to his room but is stopped when a hand is pressed on his chest.

Killua is maybe slightly shorter though not by much, he's still pretty strong for his leaner toned frame.

"No, we're not letting whatever the problem is slide. Please. Tell me what's wrong. I'm not gonna hate or judge you." Killua persists, hand strangely kept firm on Gons' right breast over his black tank top from escaping the topic.

Having difficulty sleeping in unconditional heat and decided to wear the tank top. It wasn't much better but it was minimal effort.

Gon settles back. Eyes averted for a split second, then turned back to face Killua who let go and looked confused, brow raised. The dark haired male speaks up with a straightened back, eyes gone all serious. "Please don't hate me and blame my tired state for this."

"What the hell are you-"

Lips pressed his own to shut him up. The kiss was firm and sudden but was abruptly stopped when Gon hastily pulled back face crimson, Killua surely felt the same when letting a gasp of air mixed or surprise.

"I'm so sorry. I wasn't sure if you were gay or bi or straight ever since the performance today and couldn't stop thinking how much I love you. Please forgive me. You're just so beautiful, smart and talented I couldn't handle my emotions. I'm so sor-"

Gon stopped rambling embarrassing nonsense that made both males flustered to the core when Killua kissed back by grabbing his cheeks. Hands slowly grazed up to Gons' short spiky damped hair from shower and sighs content of how nice Gons lips feel.

Golden eyes widen is bewilderment of what's happening, all feeling like a dream. He kisses back as he sets his shaking hands on Killuas' sides. Feeling too content eyes closed.

They eventually needed air and lips parted, making them ache for more. Gon licking his own lips made the flushed male shiver from the deliberate action.

"What are we going to do about this? Our company won't accept this." Gon says, doubting whether this was a good idea now.

Killua gets the note of the homophobic industry not letting any sexuality besides straight pass them casually, he places his hands back Gons' cheeks and placed a chaste kiss to lips. Pulling back to give Gon a sly grin.

"Like that's gonna stop us."
