—————
Appearance
she looks like a queen. Her posture is always perfect. You could balance a stack of books on her head and they would never fall. Her dresses are simple yet regal, and never wrinkled. Her natural hair is frizzy, wavy, and dark brown, but she straightens it with a hot iron. When straightened, it falls down to about the middle of her back. Her eyes are the only anomaly of her flawless figure. They're a light purple, the color of lightning.

^^^this is a basic rendition of her, but hair, eyes, and outfit are different

—————
Personality
on the surface, she's very cold. And under the surface, she's also cold. She's calculating, and very intelligent. She understands strategy, and is always thinking a couple moves ahead, whether it be in a conversation or on the battlefield. She's a diplomat, and always handles herself carefully. She doesn't mind telling people what they want to hear. She's not loyal in the slightest, will stab you in the back in an instant. If, somehow, you were to strip away the years and years of careful teaching, you would find that she wants to be free. She wants to live her life with no restraints and not be bound by duty in everything she does. If she hadn't lived the life she had, she'd be a freelance artist, using oil pastels to show the world as it is, telling truths through color and form.

Strengths
she's great at consolidating power, and gathering it. A total chess boss. She's really intelligent, both street smart and book smart. She has a beautiful, hyper-realistic drawing style, if she lets herself.

Weaknesses
she's obsessed with control. Control over herself, over those beneath her, over her powers. She is unyielding, and horribly stubborn. She has a bit of a superiority complex. She has claustrophobia, and hates when people touch her. She's a perfectionist, and oftentimes works herself way too hard.

Fears
losing control. Of herself, especially. She would literally kill someone if that happened, not to mention lose her chance at getting the throne.

—————
Family
Mother Rosanna Brighton (deceased). Father William Brighton. Brother Averitt Brighton, age 17.

Backstory
her mother discovered her powers when she was about six, when she found her wooden toys charring in her hands. After that, she started teaching her how to control it, and keep it hidden. It worked for nearly a decade, and by the time she was sixteen, Adrienne could kill a grown man with her powers, and no one would know it was her. It was their secret, and no one knew except her mother. But then she died due to smallpox, and things changed. Her father found out about her powers after an outburst involving the charred corpse of a maid who had gotten too close while she was crying, and his plan of action contrasted greatly from her mother's. What he taught her about her powers was that they were a curse, something to be ashamed of, even though her mother had told her it was a gift. He trained her to squash down her powers, and when she failed, the punishments were severe. He molded her into the perfect queen, the way he knew was right.
