This is the last time this will happen to me.This is the last time that my father will treat me like I'm nothing more than dirt off the ground while my mother idly stands by and watches it happen to me,her own daughter.
After my father slapped me I ran, I ran to the only place I knew that I would be safe,I ran to Luke's house.
The previous night I told him what my so called father does to me.This was the first time I saw his face contort like that.He was furious, he looked like he wanted to murder someone,probably my father.
He tried to convince me to just leave with him,but I couldn't I couldn't just leave her there she would die without me.Angela is just a 10 year old little girl she didn't deserve that.Angela may only be my half-sister but I loved her more than she could comprehend.
Tonight I just couldn't take it I had to leave I ran to Luke's house with a bag packed,anything that I didn't have we could buy. I banged on his front door and a few minutes later his tired figure appeared at the door.
"L-Luke let's leave please I can't take it anymore." I stuttered out.
"Angel you know it's 3am right"he slurred.
"Please Luke we can runaway like you said no one will know lets just go" I said to him.
"Angel are you sure about this because once we do this there's no going back" he said to me.
"I'm sure Luke lets go"
He ran upstairs to go pack a bag.
Luke and I have been best friends since first grade.When we were little we would always talk about running away to Sydney we thought it would be fun we would have never imagined this would happen.
Luke had just graduated a few months ago and his band 5 seconds of summer was really hitting off,but his band mates all lived in Sydney so I guess that's where we're heading.As for me school was never my strong suit, so it wouldn't matter if I dropped out. I was always the girl that guys wanted to be with and all girls wanted to be.
Luke came down with a bag full of clothes and started calling Ashton one of his band mates asking if we could stay for a few days.We got in the car and headed to Sydney.This is where we live behind our old lives and begin new ones.
