Angelic's POV

I didn't know what to do after Luke left. I didn't know if I should go to work or just call in sick. I decided not to call in sick because I could use the social amd it would give me time to talk to Mya my co-worker/best friend.

I first met Mya at a local cafe,called Cups.(I know it's a weird name) We had just moved into our apartment, when Luke asked me to go get some coffee to keep us awake while we were unpacking all of our (new) furniture that we had gotten from furniture store the day before.

I didn't know the closest Starbuck's to our apartment so i decided to just walk around until i found a place, even if it turned our terrible. I walked a few blocks down and eventually found Cups.

When I walked in there were only about 10 people inside at most. I was waiting in line when I heard someone say, "Are you new to town?"

I turned around and saw a girl with long brown hair and hazel/green eyes.

"Um yeah me and my friend just moved into town a few days ago.", I answered.

"Oh well on that thought, my name is Mya. I live just down the street.", Mya said. "Oh and by the way you should try the Greek frappe coffee.", She said

"Thaks for the suggestion and my name's Angelic but you can call me Angel.", I said

After we ordered our drinks we sat down and started talking and I found out she lived just a few blocks down from my new apartment. About an hour after we sat down Luke called me wondering where I was i told him that i was still geting coffee and that I'd be home in a bit.

"I have to go my roommate just called, but maybe we could hang out tomorrow.", I told Mya.

"Yeah sure that would be great she said what time?", Mya said

"Whatever time is fine with me. Here's my number text me the time and place.", I said

After i gave her my number and ordered Luke a new drink because his was probably freezing by now, I made my way home.

The next day we hung out and she even helped me and Luke unpack. We eventually became best friends, we were both looking for jobs and we found one at the guitar shop, they accepted both of us. We have been friends evere since that day.

I checked the time and saw that it was now 10am work started in 2 hours. "That should give me enough time to take a shower.", I thought to myself.

I got in the shower and brushed my teeth. After I showered I blow dried my hair and curled it. I put on my faded skinny jeans, a shirt and my low black boots. I did my makeup grabbed my keys and sunglasses and ran out the door with just enough time to spare.

I got there at 12:02, luckily my boss didn't notice or i would've been toast. My boss Jeremy is cool and all, but the only thing he hates is tardiness.

Once I got there i went to the back room to see if Mya was here yet and if she wasn't I would probably have to distract Jeremy so that she coukd sneak inside. To my luck Mya wasn't in the back room or anywhere in the shop for that matter.

To Mya: Where are you, you know Jeremy will kill you if he finds out your late!

From Mya: I know, I know I woke up late, I'm already on my way.....can you distract Jeremy while I sneak in......pretty please

To Mya: Okay good and of course I'll distarct Jeremy you don't even have to ask you know that

From Mya: I know I don't have to ask I was just being courteous ;) I'll see you in a bit

To Mya: Yeah yeah whatever see you

Well now I have to find a way to distract Jeremy.....what fun.

I went out to the front of the store and started looking at random guitars. Let the distraction begin.

"Hey Jeremy.", I called

"Yeah", He answered

"Oh I was just thinking about getting a guitar for Luke so you know I wanted proffesional advice.", I said

"I'm no proffesional Angelic and don't you know enough about guitars to pick one out yourself.", He countered

"Wel yeah, but you know i don't know as much as you do and I wanted it to be a nice guitar.", I said to him

"Angelic is this some sort of anniversary present or something like that, is that why you want it to be special?", He said

"God no Jeremy you know that me-" ,I was cut off when I saw Mya make her way to the back room.

"Actually you know what Jeremy your right it's not like me and Luke are dating or anything why do I need to get him a new guitar when he has a perfect one at home.....anyway thanks for the help Jeremy.", I rushed

"Yeah sure anytime.", He said confused

When I got to the back room Mya was sitting on her phone as if she had been there all day.

"You will never be late again do you hear me Mya Jade Taylor. You do not understand what i just went through.", I whisper yelled

"I thought you liked Jeremy.", She laughed

Mya knew that I coudn't be angry with anyone and when iactually tried to be a angry with someone it was a hilarious site. According to her.

"Yeah Jeremy's cool and all as a boss, but not as a friend and you know that....your such a skank.", I told her

"Your a hoe.", she said

We both burst into laughter.We were never serious people.

Throughout the day i told her about what happened with Dylan. She said she never thought it was gonna work out anyway and I think that deep down I didn't think that it woud work out either.

When my shift was over I said bye to Mya and went on my way home.

When I got home it was around 6pmish, Luke wasn't home and I assumed he was either with Ashton at the studio or at an interview.

I practiced my guitar for about an hour and after that I watched 2 or 3 episodes of American Horror Story. After the 3rd episode it was around so I decided to go to sleep.

I heard a noise in the kitchen, I looked at my clock it was 3:30 in the morning. I went to kitchen and saw Luke drunk.

"Luke what are you looking for.", I said to him

"I um I'm just looking for some flour so I can make breakfast for Angel.", He slurred

"Okay Luke it's time for bed come on.", I told him

It was difficult getting him to bed, but i eventually did it. After iI put Luke to bed I turned off all the lights and went to bed.

For some reason I couldn't sleep I kept thinking about what Jeremy had said.

Was I even special to Luke? Is he even special to me or are we growing apart?

Of course we are not growing apart we're still the same old Luke and Angelic that we have always been.....right....of course we are
