Courtney

I walk into the living room at JC's house and see my parents.

"Hey Court," my mom says.

"Hey mom. Hi daddy," I say.

He gets up and walks into the kitchen. JC sees how I'm about to cry and he holds me.

I pull out of his grip and walk into the kitchen.

"Daddy can we talk about this," I ask.

"What's there to talk about," dad huffs.

"I have all my school work for when I'm on tour for the next couple months," I say.

"The point is Your out of school, your tutoring the bad boy, and your discrasing this family," he yells.

Tears start falling down my face and I run out of the house. JC follows me and hug me.

"Court, your not a discrase," he whispers to me.

Kian walks out and sees us. I run into his arms and he holds me.

"I cant let her stay here," I say.

"I know," JC says as mom comes out.

"Sweetheart," she says.

"Yeah mom," I ask.

"I'm sorry bout your father. He's been drinking," she says.

I nod and walk back inside.

"I'm sorry daddy," I say.

"For what? screwing up your life," he asks.

"I'm sorry I'm not perfect," I say and walk into the studio.

I grab my music stand, sheet music, guitars, and cases. I walk out and load the stuff into my car. Kian gets in and JC looks.

"I am going to pick up the boys. I'll call you when I'm home and away from dad," he says.

"Okay," I say quietly.

I look at the window and see dad's dicusted face. I pull out of the drive way and drive to Kian's house.

"Is he always like that when he's drunk," Kian asks.

"Yeah," I sigh.
