What is with this school (part 1)

Chapter 4. (=

As soon as the bell rang I scrapped my chair back and raced for the door. I started down the hallway and pulled my schedule out of my back pocket. Biology was next but I can't decipher where it is from the map that I got this morning. I looked around, trying to find a friendly face that wont kill me if I asked them directions. It was hard most people either had their faces tripping them or were with a crowd. Finally I saw a small petite girl with short blonde hair standing by a locker, I guess its her's. I walked over and was welcomed with a smile.

"Hi, you must be the new girl everyone is talking about." I nodded and gave her a shy smile.

"I didn't know I stood out that much." She laughed then turned towards her locker spinning the dial to open it.

"Oh by the way my name is Teri you can call me Tee, what's your's?" She reached her hand back to shake mine.

"I'm Hope."

"Sweet, so I know you didn't come over here to meet the awesome Teri, so what do you need?" I was shocked at how upfront she was but I knew that we would get along. When I softened up to people I was pretty unpredictable.

"I was just wondering if you could tell me how to get to biology." I looked down at the sheet again. I had Mrs Ronnie and class 3B.

"I've got that class the now so I'll walk you." We went down to the bottom floor and proceeded down the hall passing the office until we reached a white door with Mrs Ronnie - Biology printed on the front (well duh!). Teri strode in with no hesitation and when she realised that I had lagged behind she beckoned me to come to the back of the class and take the empty seat next to her.

"Hey Tommy this is Hope." She said to a boy in front of her. He turned in his seat and reached his hand out smiling.

"Hey nice to meet you, I'm Tommy." I shook his hand then looked at Teri. She was looking at him with complete adoration in her eyes, its was so sweet, I could totally tell she liked him but she stopped when she realised that I was looking. I couldn't help the smile that was dancing on my lips. 

"So how are you liking school so far?" I groaned remembering the little chat that I had with that guy at the start of the day. "Oh, I guess you met Eric." He said laughing.

"If that's the big douche who things he owns the school then yeah I met him." I saw Teri stiffen a little and stare behind me. "He's behind me isn't he." I whispered.

"Get out of my seat." I turned to see him standing his ground with his arms crossed on his chest and a glare in his eyes. I could hear a hint of a threat in what he said.

"Or what?" I challenged.

"Or I'll make you!"

"Aww .. your such a gentleman telling little old me to move and on my first day." I said sarcastically and pretend pout rolling my eyes when he stood there expecting me to get up. "You know your really wasting your time standing there, do us a favour and fetch us a seat so I can put my feet up." I flashed a big smile and laughed when he stormed off.

Boy, what was his problem. First I get hit by a door, the door that he flung open may I add, then he gets irritated when I don't move, issues?
