My Captain is Amazing

Chapter 52

(Jonathan's P.O.V.)

First game of the road trip is tonight.

Horn sounds, we win against the Stars 5-4.

***Next day***

Horn sounds, we loss to the Bruins, 2-1.

***Two days later***

I put the puck in the net in overtime to win over the Wild, 4-3

 ***Next day***

We won in a 15 round shootout against the Kings, 6-5.

We have two days before are next game against the Maple Leafs. The team flys out tomorrow night but me and Riley are flying out of LA tonight and are going around the city tomorrow and Friday to see what we did last. Which was everything but the Hockey Hall of Fame. We got on to the plane and my eyes start to close. I must slept the whole way to Toronto because Riley was shaking me to wake up. We get off the plane and go to the hotel. We checked in and went up to the room. We get inside and I changed my pants. I jumped into one of the beds. My eyes were half close when I felt two arms wrapping around my waist. I fell asleep with her in the bed with me. The first time we were sleeping together.

I wake up the next morning and see Riley sleeping next to me. I cuddle her and kissed her of the forehead. I see her eyes start to open after I kissed her. "Good morning" she said.

"Good morning babe" I said.

"Is babe my new name?"

"If you want it to be."

"Yes, only if I get to call you sweetie."

"Okay, babe"

"Alright sweetie"

We kissed each other and start to get ready. Today we were going to the CN Tower. We go downstairs and get some breakfast. We drive over to the tower and get there at 9 in the morning. We get inside and bought our tickets. We were going to do the EdgeWalk, which included everything else we wanted to included. We go to EdgeWalk first. We we got up there I was a little scared to go walk on the outside of the building, but I was with Riley. They straped us into the safety harnesses and we went outside to go walk. The view was amazing and it was just amazing time. When we were done we head towards the SkyPod. We go up and we stand by the glass taking pictures of us with Toronto in the background. We go back down to the LookOut and eat at the Horizon Restaurant. After lunch we walk around the LookOut and go over to the glass floor. I look down at the glass floor and see Toronto just full of life. Riley grabbed me and we layed on the glass and she takes a couple pictures of us together. We both took pictures of each other doing silly things on the glass. We then go watch Red Rocket.

We left the CN Tower and went to dinner. We didn't get back to the hotel in till 8 o'clock at night. We got back and we change. We layed in bed together and watch the Minnesota Wild play against the Toronto Maple Leafs.  I could tell Riley enjoyed listening to her brother Max broadcast the game and watching Kyle and Jack play. It was tied at 2 a piece in till Kyle scored for Minnesota and she cheered for him. She looks at me with the 'sorry' look in her eyes. I give her the 'it's okay, I understand' look. And I truly did understand,  it was her brother that scored. If it was any other player other than Jack that scored for the Wild, she wouldn't cheer. I would do the same if Bryan was in the NHL and not on the Hawks. She puts her head on my chest and starts to fall asleep as I hear the guys come in.
