Emma's POV
The moment Calum's lips connected mine, a new feeling ignited me. It felt crossed with explosions and warmth, and I seemed to instantly disintegrate into his hands. Calum certainly knew how to kiss; with his plump lips and fantastic way of movement.
And the best thing? It was my first kiss.
Calum pulled away first, a bright smile on his tan face. I blushed and looked down at the grass.
"You're a pretty good kisser," Calum complimented.
"No, I'm not." I said, face pure red. I could feel his gaze. It burned into my cheek.
"Yes, you are," he chuckled, taking my hand, "it was the bestest thing that I've ever felt."
"'Bestest' isn't even a word." I clarified.
"That indeed," he nodded, "but it's better than the best."
"Shut up." I rolled my eyes. Calum laughed, making me laugh. Then he started making faces, causing me to embarrassingly snort - erupting a louder laugh out of him.
"Be quiet over there," I heard Ashton call out, "how am I supposed to turn on my girlfriend with all that racket?"
"Ew." Luke muttered.
Isabell laughed in Ashton's arms, and I grinned. We had been friends for a long time and I was genuinely happy that she trusted me enough to let me know about her and Ashton. I simply loved the idea of them together; they were both loud, hilarious, and had this sort of daddy kink. It was great.
I immediately darted my eyes somewhere else as the two started to get their heated make-out session on again. I focused on Calum's hand in mine.
His hand was bigger and warmer compared to my small, cold one. I held it, tracing the lines and creases of his skin. He shivered under my touch.
"You cold?" I asked him.
He shook his head and smiled. "There's this one line to a song I like: 'If I tremble at the sight of you, it's not because I'm cold. It's because I'm staring at the girl I want to love me when I'm old,'"
"Calum," I couldn't help but feel mixed emotions. I was happy, yes - utterly happy, and I really did like him. Oh, I really did. Yet, what would even come of us? We had just met today, and I was another fan. And although we did kiss, I didn't know if it would last. I then looked at Ashton and Isabell.
They met as fan and member, kissed, fucked, and now they were together. Stop worrying, I thought.
"Emma." Calum said.
I decided to not mention all that I had thought. Instead, I tilted my head to the side and gave him a small smile.
"Kiss me again?"
And he did.
-
"So, we should probably talk about sleeping arrangements." Michael brought up.
We were back in the bus after a long ass time roaming the streets. Luke was getting insanely tired, Isabell and Ashton insanely needy for each other. The six of us made it back sneakily and safe.
"It's quite obvious," Ashton replied, "Kitten and I in my bed, Luke in his, Mikey in his, and Emma with Calum.."
I blushed. I wanted to say we weren't dating, but it wouldn't hurt to sleep with Calum for a night.. or more.
"Wait," Michael said, "hold the fuck up. Did you just - did you just call Isabell, Kitten?"
Isabell's cheeks turned red and Ashton puffed his chest up dramatically. "So what if I did?"
Michael laughed. "No reason. I'm not judging."
I couldn't not notice the look of jealousy cross Michael's eyes. I grinned slightly at that, because holy shit - two people liked my friend.
I looked at Isabell. She looked at me. I nodded my head towards Mikey, mouthing I think he likes you. She didn't get it.
"I wish someone would call me kitten." Luke said.
"Maybe you should get a girlfriend." Isabell said.
"A girlfriend wouldn't call me kitten," Luke rose an eyebrow, "that means I would have to call her daddy."
"You could call her mommy." Calum suggested. I laughed.
Luke's face looked horrified. "Fuck no. That's disgusting."
"You gotta do what you gotta do." Calum shrugged. I thought about what would happen if Calum called me mommy in bed. That would be awkward. I felt even more awkward now that I was standing right next to him, thinking about being in bed with the guy.
"Okay, well, I'm tired as fuck. It's been a cool night and all, but goodnight." Michael headed to his bunk and climbed in. He closed the curtain and that was that.
Luke followed and got into his bed. Calum took my hand and led me to his own. I noticed Ashton and Isabell not following.
"Are you guys not going to bed?" I asked.
Isabell winked. "We have things to do."
I took the hint and grinned at her. "Okay.. have fun. Goodnight."
Calum and I slid into his bunk. I was squashed into the wall while he closed the curtain.
"Well." he smirked.
"Well."
"Maybe we should make out.." he hinted. We were lying on our sides, facing each other. I skimmed him quickly.
The color of his skin, his fluffy black and faded-blond-streaked hair. His pools of chocolate eyes and warming smile. And the cute double freckle on his cheek. My heart swelled up, because Calum Hood was truly beautiful.
"Maybe." I said.
"Like, right now."
"Mm," I pretended to think, "why is that?"
"Well, if you had an insanely pretty girl who could kiss very well and might like you back, wouldn't you want to make out with her?" Calum explained. I could tell he was getting antsy.
"I don't know," I grinned, "should I?"
"Yeah, you should." Calum whispered. He leant forward, bringing his forehead against mine.
The feeling of his lips would never get old.
