Date at the Arcade (Ako Udagawa x Rinko Shirokane)

(TLDR: just some cute fluff with Ako and Rinko)

Rinko silently waited outside of the arcade, twirling her thumbs as she did. During her most recent practice with Roselia, Ako asked her if she was free Saturday. Ako wanted to go on a date with her to Super potato, her favorite arcade of all time.

Rinko, with her big and obvious crush on her band mate, immediately said yes. So now here she was, waiting for Ako so they could start their date. "Maybe she's ghosting me..." Rinko thought, nervousness growing inside her. Rinko was afraid that Ako wasn't going to come, lying about wanting to go out with her. But just as Rinko was about to leave, she heard Ako call out her name.

"Rin-rin! So sorry that I'm late!" Ako said, running over to the dark haired girl, "Tomoe was making sure I wasn't going anywhere "Too adult". Rinko Ike's, relieved that Ako was finally here and said "So....Want to go in now?". Ako nodded and took Rinko's hand, a blush appearing in the taller girl's cheeks. As the two entered Super potato, they were greeted by the loud and colorful inside.

To the cabinet machines that were painted in bright colors, to the customers playing them, it was a full house for the arcade. Rinko's introverted self felt small in the arcade, her grip on Ako's hand becoming tighter. Ako saw Rinko's fear and said "Wanna see if anyone isn't holding up Bubble Bobble so we can play it?" Ako offered, wanting Rinko to lighten up a bit. Rinko nodded, and the band mates tried to find the game through the crowded arcade. After about 5 minutes of searching, they finally found the machine for it, thankfully unattended.

Rinko absolutely loved the game for it's cute visuals, and instantly rushed over to one of the controllers. "C'mon Ako, I can't beat this thing myself!" Rinko exclaimed, inserting a quarter into the machine. Ako joined in, giggling as she did.

While the game was cute, It wasn't anything special in Ako's eyes. Bubble Bobble was basically Super Mario, but if it had more moe like features. "How about we play a zombie game?" Ako suggested, Rinko freezing up when she said that. Rinko was terrified of zombies. Ako saw this and reassured her with "Don't worry! We get to shoot the zombies, so it might help conquer your fears!". Rinko was still unsure, So Ako in a proudy voice exclaimed "And besides, Demon Princess Ako is here to save you if the zombies get to close!". Ako did her signature pose, Which made Rinko laugh.

Ako was surprised by just how much fun Rinko had when playing the house of the dead. Rinko has this....weird smile on her face as if she was enjoying it a little to much. As they left the machine, Rinko grabbed Ako's arm, running to DDR, as she saw that it was now free to use. "Which song? Which song?" Rinko happily exclaimed, letting Ako pick. "Uhhh, how about Butterfly?" Ako suggested, Rinko nodding in excitement.

(Time-skip to after their done with the song)

Ako and Rinko panted as they finished the song, then getting a S rank. Ako fell down to her bottom as she gasped for air, saying "Let's take a break for a bit...". "W-What are you talking about? I want to play more!" Rinko exclaimed, sweating but still full of energy. Rinko looked down and saw that Ako was incredibly serious, the shorter girl looking like she was about to pass out.

"I'm going to get you some water..." Rinko said, going over to a vending machine.

(Time-skip to the end of the date)

"I had such a great time!" Rinko exclaimed as she and Ako left Super potato. Ako's cheeks were of a rosy hue as she nodded, asking Rinko "D-Do you want to do this again by any chance?"

Rinko was stunned, but then smiled and softly said "Sure...". Ako gave her a big smile and kissed Rinko's cheek, waving goodbye as she ran off back home.

Rinko held her cheek and smiled, a blush settled onto her face.

Author's note: hope this was to your liking! I actually had to look up arcade games just to make sure as I haven't been in one for a while. Also, I'm pretty surprised by how short this ended up as....I don't know if it was just how far I can go with the story or procrastination.
