Chapter 22

Katie's P.O.V

I'm in a dark room. Everything is black, no colors, and little memory of what happened. My water broke, I gave birth to a boy, then an unexpected little girl. Then I passed out. No clue how long I'm supposed to be in here, so I decide to just sleep.

Time skip

I wake up to weird sounds. I get up and hear some hissing. Like a snake. Then blue and white flashes, I'm met with a rush of cold air, then I'm falling, only to be caught by big warm arms.

Shiro's P.O.V

It's been a varga, she was supposed to be out 30 dobashes ago. I'm getting anxious, what if she was extremely hurt, or something like that. I'm cut off by a hissing sound, then a small flash. Katie falls out of the pod, and within a tick, I'm catching her. Her eyes flutter open, and she stares at me for a bit. 

Nobody's P.O.V

Katie just woke up in Shiro's arms. Everyone else had left to go get food just a few minutes ago. "Shiro? Where are the kids," Katie asks. "They're right over here," he responds, picking her up, and bringing her to a med bay bed, gently seeing her down, then bringing their children over. "I hope you didn't name them without me," "never, but I do have an idea for the girl," she buffs her head gesturing for him to tell her. "I was thinking the name, Amaya, it means night rain," "that's a perfect name for her, I have a name for her big brother." She says as he hands the boy to her taking Amaya from her arms. "I was thinking Ezra. It means 'help'. I believe he will help anyone in need, just like his father," she says smiling down at Ezra. "Amaya and Ezra. Welcome to the universe," Shiro says. "But for now, I think they're hungry, so I'm gonna feed them, you go talk to the others, just don't tell them the names yet. I wanna see their reactions," Katie says, as she started to feed Ezra.

"Alright, do you want me to tell them you're awake," "go for it," "alright Katie, see you later," he says, putting Amaya in the floating crib like thing, before walking out of the room. "I can't wait to tell you two embarrassing stories of the team," she says giggling a bit, causing her two babies to make cute baby sounds, causing get to practically melt. "I just gave birth to the cutest bundles of joy, in the entire universe," she says. 

"Okay, I think that's enough for you, it's your sisters turn to eat," she says, setting him down in the crib, and picking up his sister. "I remember the first movements (weeks) we had our cow, kattlenecker, hunk made milk shakes, Allura and Coran loved them. It was their first time having them. So they decided to ask kattlenecker for more. When they got frustrated with not getting an answer, they got Lance. That's when they figured out where the milk came from. They wouldn't speak with lance for Quintants, it was extremely funny," Katie said chuckling.

With Shiro

Katie just had me leave the room to talk to the others. Ezra, the older sibling if the two. And Amaya, the one Ezra was gonna protect. It was kinda like Matt and Katie, except Matt was older by a few years. And Ezra was older by a few minutes. He walked around the halls till he found the others hanging out in the lounge. "Hey," he says grabbing their attention. "She's awake, and back to her normal self, mostly." Shiro says. "Finally," Matt says and rushes out. "Did you name the children," Allura asks. "Yes we did," "what are the names," Lance says jumping up from his spot next to Keith. "Not telling, Katie wanted to tell you all together," "so we should go there right now, so we can learn them," hunk says slowly getting up. "Sure, she should be fine feeding by now, it's been half a varga, I spent all that time looking around the whole castle for all of you," Shiro says walking out of the room with the others right behind him. 

"Katie!" Matt yells running into the med bay. "Matt shut up, I just got the kids asleep," she scolded her brother. "Oh, sorry," he apologized. Stopping next to her and pulling her into a hug. "I was so worried. Don't ever worry me like that ever again," he said. Just then the rest of the team walked into the room. "Hey Pidge," Lance said. "Hey guys, I'm assuming you want to see my children," she said. "Don't you mean our children," Shiro said walking up to her and placing a small kids on the cheek. She let out a small giggle before nodding. "They're right over here," she said, gesturing to the two small cribs. 

"Shiro named our girl, while I named our boy," Pidge said. "We named our baby boy Ezra. Because I believe he will be there too help anybody in need," she said as Matt picked up Ezra. "We named our baby girl Amaya. It means night rain," Shiro said, as Allura picked her up. 

Alright. I would right more. But it's 3:30 am. So yes it is shorter, and not as good as the others, but cut me some slack. I've been sick for the past week. But the next one should be better. (Hopefully). Anyways, see you on my next chapter.
