Sam's POV
I woke up early today which was a bit odd, I woke up went & took a shower and wore some sweats and t-shirt and socks. I went to the lounge & I connected my phone to the speaker and played Candy Rain( this my joint).
I decided to clean the house since I'm alone and it's dirty. I swept, shifted some furniture, dusted and moped. I put my jam on repeat and sang along.
I started cleaning the kitchen when I thought of my date with Markus. Honestly now that I look back at it, I really enjoyed it because he was literally a breath of fresh air, with his cocky attitude to his calm demour. He's honestly a gentleman but I can't help but feel sceptical. I mean all these people aren't really interested, they take you out on a date, wine and dine you then after woo you to bed and after the bedroom festivities it's all over. Now imagine putting all your energy towards someone and I mean time, effort, sweat & tears for only to be strangers again with that person. I'm sorry poo but I'm not about that bullshit. Markus and I have been texting and it's nice to have someone to blow your phone but I can't help but be afraid. Be afraid of the disappointment lurking in the corners and the hurt waiting to pounce on me once I'm weak.
I finished cleaning and decided to freshen up again because I was sweaty. I showered again and wore some grey booty shorts and a large grey t-shirt with white socks. I fetched my hot Cheetos from kitchen and laid in bed and scrolled through Insta just liking random pictures when suddenly my phone vibrated informing me of an incoming call. I answered :
Samuel Hello...
Sammy why you answering as if you talking to whole damn stranger, busy acting a foul.
I automatically laughed when I heard Amanda on the other side.

Oh, I'm waiting for you at the parking lot honey let's go.
Wait what?! Amanda you didn't say anything about about today!!
Boy, just get down before I leave you. Probably eating Cheetos right now let's go.
I dropped the call and laughed, I have weird friends. I quickly changed to tight blue jeans and tucked in my t-shirt and grabbed my white shoes. Grabbed my wallet and phone and went out. I found Amanda's impatient ass outside looking like she's tryna get a new man😂. "Where we going?" Was the first thing I asked. " Smh, don't talk to me. You took your damn time hoe".
