You have honey coated lips,
And eyes made of sugar.
Your world isn't the same as mine,
but it's okay, my dear.your hair falls like vines,
your pupils show your soul.
Sometimes i get a snippet
of your sugar sweet voice.
You joke a lot, my flower,
about your appearance and your voice.
If only, i say in the moment,
you could see the sweetness you have.In the morning,
i drink warm tea,
while i text you, my love.
The sugar - your smile,
the tea - your hair.
The warmth, your longing embrace. And at night i finish with a
hot chocolate.
I say it's for the warmth,
but i know that's a lie,
for i only want the warmth of your arms.my baby,
you have all the sweetness. If i were to mix together
the honey, tea and got chocolate,
it would be but a decimal of your sweetness.
And so although i try, to get close through drinks and warmth,
i will never quite get close enough. For our worlds are not the same,
for you, my true love,
are but sweeter than honey coated lips.
