"No Audacity, we were just talking about you. Come in," shape said and Audacity entered. "Audacity, this is your new partner," shape pointed to Splinter and Audacity stuck her hand out. "Pleasure to meet you! I'm Audacity, what is your name?" she smiled. "Splinter," he coldly said but didn't shake her hand. "I will give you some time to get along. Now go," shape said and Splinter left. Audacity caught up to him in the hallway. "Isn't it exciting? I never had a partner before," she smiled brightly. "Whatever," Splinter scoffed. "So, how will we get along?" she excitedly said. "We won't. This is a one-time job, no getting along," he said and Audacity got a little sad.
"And if you get into problem, don't expect help from me. Besides, it's not like I would kill every member of some gang just to help you."

"Good morning viewers, we are bringing you hot news," reporter collected her papers and started. "Today, around 1 am, there was reported a fire in Frozen Fields. It probably spread from the old shops and burned houses and trees around. Firefighters are trying to extinguish the last bits of the fire right now. They also find dead bodies all over the building. They seem that some were killed by fire, but most of them are cut in half or with fatal wounds. They were probably brutally murdered by someone.
Not even an hour later, another fire and gunshots were reported from Forest Cliffs. The fire probably started at an old abandoned factory downtown, but it spread to almost the whole city. Firefighters are having trouble fighting it because it seems that it's corrupted fire. Many shapes have died or corrupted while trying to extinguish it. The government is debating if they should evacuate the city. About an hour later after the start of the fire, the factory building collapsed. Firefighters found many corpses in the ruins. Cause of their death probably wasn't fire, but brutal murder. There were not found any survivors of both catastrophes yet," Blixer turned off the TV.

He looked at Ketex that was sitting next to the fireplace. "Have you seen Splinter yesterday?" Blixer asked. "Nope," Ketex answered and looked at Blix. "That places are where Saevus had his hideouts. Do you think it could be..." Blixer started but went quiet. "I can go ask Turquoise if they saw him," Ketex said and stood up. "Yeah, go," Blixer said and Ketex left the room.

Blixer spun with his chair, light up a cigarette, and closed his eyes. He needed a break. Someone roughly opened the door. "Hey! Can't you knock-" Blixer turned to his visitor but was left in shock by the shape he saw.

It was Splinter. He had blood all over him, some burn marks and a few fatal wounds. But most importantly, he was fully corrupted and was holding some kind of necklace.

Blixer couldn't speak. Did Splinter really just annihilated everyone in Saevus's gang? He walked closer and put a necklace on Blixer's table. The necklace was covered in blood and had a broken chain. Blixer looked closer on the symbol on it. It must have belonged to Saevus.

"What is the next job, Boss?" Splinter smiled and licked some blood off his hands.
