My mom decided to take us to get some ice cream at Denny's ice cream.
I've gotten cotton candy, my mom got chocolate, and my brother got Oreo.
"How was school today kids?" My mother asked my brother and I.
"Mom it was so great.! We got to make crafts and play outside for an extra hour! And we got to build Legos! And we got to do a science experiment!" My brother was speaking so fast it was hard to keep up with him.
"Haha, well that's good Timmy. What about you Elizabeth?" My mom asked.
"It was alright. Boring." I told her.
My mother just said oh okay.
We sited quietly and ate our ice cream for about 2 mins until my mom spoke up.
"So Elizabeth? Your dad called me today." She told me in a low voice.
My heart started pounding. My dad hasn't called me since a year. He stopped calling me because I never answered the phone.
"Mom, I don't want to know what he wants or I don't want to even hear the word dad. He isn't a dad to me. He'll never be a dad to me. Ever!" I sad in an angry voice.
"Can you at least give him another chance? He misses you guys." My mom said in a sad voice.
"Mom. No! He should have thought before he done something like that to us. He left us for some damn tramp!"
"Watch your mouth around Timmy!" My mom said.
"Sorry." I apologized to my mom.
We all finished our ice cream in peace.
"Mommy. I wanna go home." Timmy whined.
"Alright let's go." My mom said.
We all got up and threw our plastic bowls in the trash.
We walked to our car. We then got into the car, put our seat belts on, mom started the engine, and we were heading home.
