Chapter 4 A Day With My Brother

I woke up in my mom's bed. With her cuddling with me, made me sleep good.
I got out of her bed and walked to my bathroom.
I combed my hair then I brushed my teeth.
I headed downstairs.
I walked into the kitchen.
"Good morning sweetie." My mom said.
"Good morning sissy!" My brother had said.
"Good morning guys." I said.
Mom was cooking scrambled eggs with toast.
"You and your brother should go spend the day with each other. I'll give you my car and give you some money." My mother told us.
"Yeah I guess we could go do something, but I don't need your money." I told my mom.
"Nah, that's fine. I'll give you some anyways." My mom assisted.
"Alright then." I said.
My mother then put some scrambled eggs on one plate and some on another plate. She then put two pieces of toast on the two plates. She then handed them to us.
"Aren't you going to eat?" I asked my mom.
"I'm not hungry." She said.
My brother and I started to eat.
After I was done eating I went upstairs and got dressed. I put capris pants on, an American Eagle shirt on, and slipped on sandals.
I went to my bathroom. I brushed my teeth again and combed my hair. I just then pulled my hair up. I didn't put any make-up on. I just wasn't the type of girl who liked wearing make-up. I only wore make-up for special occasions.
I then stood outside of the bathroom door.
"Are you dressed yet?" I screamed across the hall to my brother's room.
"Yeah!" My brother yelled.
He then walked out of his room. He had tennis shoes on, long shorts, and a shirt from The Children's Place.
"Let me grab my phone of my desk." I told my brother.
"Okay." He said. He then walked downstairs to mom.
I walked into my room and walked over to my desk. I grabbed my phone off my desk and headed downstairs.
"So mom? What are you going to do while we are gone?" I ask her.
"Just clean the house." She said.
"You always clean." I said while giggling a little.
"Haha. Because you guys always mess it up." She says while laughing.
"Not me. Jimmy is the one that always mess it up." I say.
"No I don't! It's you too!" Jimmy yells.
My mother and I start to laugh.
"The keys are hanging up." My mom told me.
"Alright." I then walk over to my mom. I give her a kiss on the cheek. "Love you." I tell her.
"Love you too. Have fun today and here is some money." She says then grabs some money out of her pocket.
"Thanks!" I say.
"Come on Jimmy. Let's go." I told Jimmy.
We both walked to the front door. I grabbed the keys off the key shelf. We then headed out of the door.
We got into the car.
I made Jimmy set in the back since he was little. I don't want anything to happen to him.
"Put your seat belt on." I told Jimmy.
He did what he was asked to do. I then put my on.
I then pulled out of the driveway.
After 5 minutes later I get on the interstate so we could go to the mall.
While I'm driving on the interstate, Jimmy speaks up.
"Turn up the radio sis! Please!"
"Yes Jimmy, I'll turn up the radio." I say to him.
When I turn on the radio, I can see him singing and dancing to the music. Well at least he's trying to sing and dance.
About 15 minutes of driving on the interstate, I go off an exit to get to the mall.
After going past a couple of stop lights, stops signs, and making lefts and rights we end up at the mall.
"We're here!" I say excited.
"We are at the mall?" My brother asked.
"Yeah!" I tell him.
"Yay! I wanna go in the Disney Store!" He says excitedly.
"We will." I tell him.
I parked my car. We both undid our seat belts. We then got out of the car and walked into the mall.
"Okay while we are in hear I want you to hold my hand and keep close to me because there are a lot of people in here." I tell him.
He then grabs my hand and looks up at me. "Okay sissy."
We walked to the stores Jimmy like to go in. Which include The Disney Store, The Children's Place, Gymboree, Gap, and Old Navy. In all of those stores, Jimmy picked out stuff and I got it for him. He was happy. Which made me happy.
Now it was my turn to go to the stores I like. Which also include, Forever 21, American Eagle, Hollister, Wetseal, Aeropastle, and Debs. I didn't hardly buy anything for me. The only stores I bought from was Forever 21 and American Eagle. I just wanted to make sure Jimmy got what he wanted. I want to make him happy, not me.
We spent a good three hours looking at all those stores. I knew Jimmy had to be hungry because I was. "Are you hungry Jimmy?"
He looked up at me. "Yes!" Jimmy said.
"What do you want?" I ask him.
"PIZZA!" He yelled.
I started to laugh. "I guess pizza it is."
We walked to the pizza place in the mall.
"What do you want on your pizza?" I asked him
"Mushroom, sausage, and cheese." He told me.
I then walked over to the counter where the lady takes out order with Jimmy's hand in my hand.
"What would you like to eat?" The lady asked me.
"I just want a medium size pizza with mushrooms, sausage, and cheese on it." I told her.
"Would you like a drink?" The lady asked.
Before I could ask Jimmy, he already answer the question. "I want a Dr.Pepper!" He said.
The lady then laughed. "And you miss?
"I'll just have a water." I told her.
"Okay your total is $8.74." She told us.
I gave her $10.
She then gave me the rest of the money back.
I walked over to a table to sit at. Jimmy sit across me. I then laid our bags beside me.
"You having a good day so far?" I asked Jimmy.
"Best. Day. Ever!" He said.
A smile came on my face. I was happy that he was happy. It just makes me sad because Jimmy never meet his dad before. Well we aren't going to worry about "dad".
We sit for about 6 minutes. Our pizza then came out.
"PIZZA!" Jimmy yelled.
I laughed and the boy who served us the pizza laughed.
"Have a nice day." He said.
"You too." I said back.
We ate for about 10-15 minutes.
I knew it was dark outside.
"You ready to go home Jimmy?" I asked him.
"Yes!" He said.
We then left the pizza place and head out of the mall.
We arrive at the car.
Jimmy gets in the back. I get in the driver's side.
"Put your seat belt on." I tell him.
He puts it on.
I drive for awhile.
I then get on an exit to get on the interstate.
While driving down the interstate for a couple of minutes. I look back at Jimmy. He was sound asleep.
My day was complete. Jimmy and I had a fun day today. Now it was time to go home and rest. All that walking made me tired.
