Sara's been quite the entire evening. Stupid Micheal. Stupid Thomas. Why did I wish for good news!
I look around the office to find Sara. But I simple can't find her. I look outside the office windows out to the balcony. I see Sara with a bottle of wine and no shoes on, crying her eyes out. "Oh Sara! What's happening to you?"
I take the bottle out of her hands and try to find a blanket to cover her shoulders. Grey clouds are starting to appear. Ugh darn it why don't we have any blankets out here when it's obviously freezing outside. We should get some blankets. I catch myself in my head and get back to comforting Sara.
"17 years. I've been with him for 17 years. And for what? Him selling the house I grew up in!" Her eyes are red like a drug addict's and her nose is running. I spot the red wine stain on her white shirt and laugh out loud. Sara looks at me confused. "What is so funny." Sara snorts. "Its just. Ive known you for too long and I KNOW you're better than this? Letting him drag you down by selling the house, by the way that YOU own, so he can get some cash cash out of you? Seriously?" I get closer to her holding her hands. "I mean Sara come on! Someone ones told me that if a bear tries to attack you, you just beat them up with your heal and move on with your life." A smile appears on her face. "I did. I told you that." Sara starts laughing. "You know what? I AM going to smash his face. I'm gonna take him to court and get some "cash cash" from him!" She gets up and dusk her skirt. "Yes you go girl! Show him who's the boss here!" I start clapping. "I am. I'm the boss!!!" She takes a deep breath and smiles. "No but seriously I'm the boss here and you need to bring me a cup of coffee. Now."
I get up immediately and smile to myself. "And Issy. Thank you." I give her a "im always here-smile" and walk away. "Dont forget to include that when you consider my raise." I make money throwing hands and she laughs. "COFFEE. DONT FORGET THE COFFEE!" She yells as I go inside.

It's raining. Really bad. And I'm getting soaked in a minute if I don't get to the opposite street in time. I look around me. Everyone is walking so fast under their umbrellas. Ugh why didn't I bring an umbrella! I think to myself. I spot one  umbrella in the newspaper box. I quickly run to the box and before I can grab the umbrella a sneaky golden tanned hand snaps it and looks up. "YOU..." I look up and immediately gasp. "Uh YOUU!" I look at him mad and get closer to him trying to signal that I'm here for the umbrella. It's the boy from earlier this morning. But he's wearing... normal clothes? I guess he just got off of work. "Uhm do you need anything? Why are you starring at me?" He laughs as he's trying to find his wallet. "Yes as in matter of fact I do. I need that umbrella you have in you hands." I point at him and then at the umbrella. "Uh this? I'm sorry but you see it's raining a lot and I'm not trying to get soaked." He smiles at the man in the box. "I'll pay you double for that umbrella, sir" The mans eyes get big."I'll pay you more!!" The boy yells as he knows the man can't resist my offer. "I'll pay you double and I'll pay for your next coffee!" I look at the boy teasingly as I know I'm winning this battle. Aha not this time, pretty boy. "Well, sir! That's not fair!" He looks at me mad but then he smiles and turn his gaze back to the newspaper man. "You know what, I'll pay more than double, I'll pay for the next coffee AND..."

___________
"Agh you just stepped on my foot." I look irritated at him. "Well it's not my fault you can't walk like a normal human being!"
Great! Now I have to share an umbrella with a stupid, snob and pretty, city boy that takes up too much space. Its all his fault! Why couldn't he just give up the battle and give me the umbrella!
"Im sorry but why didn't you just take the bus?" His arm slowly pushes me. Ugh this boy really doesn't know how to share space. "Just take the bus? Are you kidding me? If it wasn't for your crazy bribery, I wouldn't have to be here with you in the first place!" I look back down at the sidewalk tiles. I sigh, because I know I have to walk with him for at least ten more minutes. "Ok look. I feel like we've started out bad with each other." I look up at him. "Let's start on a fresh?" I smile knowing I'll regret every word I just said in a minute. He looks at me and sighs. "You're right I'm sorry that you missed your bus." He smiles and look down at the tiles. "Oh I'M sorry that I bumped into you and smashed half of your pastries this morning." He laughs and look back up. "I'm Brady by the way." He takes out his hands and lifts his brows. "Haha I'm Isabel. But people call me issy." He laughs. "Issy? Kinda sounds like a cats name." He laughs and I push him. "That's so mean! Just call me Isabel." I take his hand. "Isabel. Nice to meet you." As I shake his hand I feel a push from someone passing by and I trip. Before I know a hand grabs my wrist and a little scream comes out of my mouth. I stand up and look him in the eyes. Wow I didn't remember the space under the umbrella being this small. He looks me directly in the eyes. It's like everything just stops. The rain hitting the ground. The car passing by. Everything just stops. Our breathing gets heavy and the cold wind slowly blows between us. His eyes are the most beautiful green I've ever seen. And his lips. I've never seen so plumped and round lips before. He's really beautiful. Somehow the song "heaven" plays in my head. And drop of water falls down on my cheek and I get back to reality. The sound of the rain gets louder and I step away. He looks down and notices. "You know what. I'm living just down the street. I don't think I need the umbrella anymore. Here, take it." He hands me the umbrella stick and gives me a smirk. "No I can't do that. You're going to get wet. Let me just walk you to you street." I look at him confused. Because I am confused. What just happened?  "No it's nothing. It's not even raining anymore!" He laughs awkwardly and slowly step outside of the umbrella. "I'll just run down the street fast and I promise I won't get wet." Oh boy that's a promise you already can't keep...

"Nice to meet you pastry smasher, Isabel."

I watch him run down the street and I can't stop laughing.
Omg. What just happened?
