An expectant Sasha stood. Her hands on her hips, a lopsided grin on her face and her eyeing him up like he was a Michelin Star meal, she was exactly how he remembered her last year.
"Fuck me, dude."
The barman came over at the noise of the commotion, his senses tingling at the thought of some good drama.
"Timmy, I'll, uh... pay for the Piña Colada and... I'll, uhm, I'll leave." He managed to get out.
The barman, now identified as Timmy, just grinned.
"Ah, so Eren, that Asian girl at the back, is she your cheating ex you ramble on about?"
'Fuck!'
Looking back at Timmy, he noticed his, wide, slightly impish grin.
"Asshole." He muttered.
Timmy's grin widened even farther, if it was even possible.
"Yeah, actually. That girl at the front is another ex, the one I showed you the photo of and you just so happened to "need the bathroom". That jog your memory, asshole?" is what Eren wanted to say.
Instead, he simply sighed and nodded. Timmy's face fell.
"Ah, it's okay then. The drink's on the house." The barman smiled, this one genuine.
Sasha's now expectant face began to appear impatient.
"Eren, why'd you leave?" She asked, her tone lacing the slightest tone of sadness, although her usual cheeriness drowned it out. To everyone but him, she seemed her usual self, but a tad jumpier. But he wasn't everyone else.
'Sorry, Sasha, I really missed ya.'
"I needed a change of scenery. Why did you come after me?" He questioned, eyebrow quirked up in interest.
"Mikasa and the others are here, too," She began.
'Ah fuck! Really? So that'll be Ymir, Reiner (thank god), Connie, Jean... Jean...'
"Earth to Eren?" She waved.
"Ah, sorry, just off in thought. You were saying?"
"We all missed you. Like, we really missed you, man."
"I really missed ya, Eren." She mouthed.
He smirked.
"You too, Sasha. My place, later." He mouthed back, winking subtly.
She blushed, and nodded slightly.
He winked less subtly than he thought.
The interaction, well, very sexualised flirting, wasn't missed by anyone there. Timmy glared slightly, but seemed happy. Mikasa looked impartial, but he knew in her stormy eyes was a mix of regret, jealousy and anger. Historia just blushed, eyes bug-like.
Eren's anger rose exponentially in an instant, and disappeared almost immediately after.
'Don't expect me to stay celibate for my cheating ex! Jesus, who do you think you are, Mikasa?'
Sasha continued to stare.
Starting to get nervous, Eren grinned, his eyes darting back and forth.
"Thanks for visiting, you three, but I uhh, gotta... go." He finished lamely.
As he walked to the open entrance to the bar, he was blocked off by the group, each with varying reactions.
"Not so fast, buster."
