*Kage pov*

I was a the training place Rias talked about. It's more like a mansion according to my senses. I went on my own to train with the frenzy virus. The downside of this virus is that it can damage friendlies if I'm not careful. I put on a blindfold and let my other senses take over along with my feelers. My sight is not my ally, so I must tap into my heritage as a gore magala and let instinct take over. I used some techniques from my muay thai classes so I could loosen my muscles and joints. It seems odd that a blind guy would be such a great martial artist, but it works. Throughout the training, I learned a new technique, shadow manipulation. The name says it all and more. I soon sensed someone behind me. It was Rias.

Kage: What are you doing here Rias?

Rias: I came here to see what you are up to.

Kage: I'm training.

Rias: Is the blindfold neccessary?

Kage: Yes. My species live our lives without sight and we are still apex predators.

Rias: Species, as in there are more of you?

Kage: Yes. From what I observed, they are hiding somewhere outside the radar. Maybe one day, I'll find where they are and probably join them.

Rias: Why would you want to join them? Aren't you happy with that you have?

Kage: I am. I am thankful to have a family that loves me and friends that care about me. I wouldn't expect you to understand what it's like to be away from your kind. To be alone where no one can understand your struggle as something that isn't normal.

Rias: You're right, I wouldn't understand, but that doesn't mean I can't try and help you. You may not be a part of my household, but you are still a part of my family. You may be a dragon, but you are also Issei's brother. I don't just see you as Kage Magala the dragon, I see you as Kage, the man who is willing to do whatever it takes to protect his loved ones.

Rias: As I see you as more then a Gremory. You've been there for my brother when he needed someone so that makes you good in my book. You are a woman who seeks freedom and change from tradition. You are more then a name, even a blind man can notice that.

Rias: Fitting since you can see that as well. Truly, Issei is lucky to have a brother like you.

Kage: And I am luck to have a family like them. I hate to sound rude, but I wish to get back into training.

Rias: Of course. I'm surprised you are training at night.

Kage: It's night now? It was morning when I started.

Rias: How are you not tired?

Kage: Maybe my species have a lot of stamina.

Rias: Why don't you get some rest. Tomorrow, you can practice with Kiba.

Kage: Sounds good to me. I always wanted to fight a fellow sordsman.

Rias: You know how to use a sword?

Kage: There's a lot of things you don't know about me Rias.

*timeskip*

I was dueling with Kiba with kendo swords, once again blindfolded. His speed as a knight is impressive, but it takes more than speed to win a fight and not all opponents fight fairly. He came behind me and tried to strike, but I kinda 'saw' that coming. I extended my wingarm, grabbed Kiba, and slammed him onto the ground.

Kiba: I always forget that you have extra limbs at your disposal.

Kage: Always be prepared for what your opponent might have up their sleeve. Just because I have a sword, doesn't mean I have one way to attack.

Kiba: You've got a point.

Kage: Want to go at it again?

Kiba: Sure thing. Let's see if I can knock you down this time.

Kage: I doubt that, but you're free to try.

He came at me again. This should be fun. I know that there is room for improvement with these guys. It's time to bring it out. After knocking Kiba down for the fifth time, I decided to end this spar.

Kiba: I find it hard to believe you are doing this while blindfolded.

Kage: You forget, I'm half Gore Magala. Those dragons live their entire lives without eyes and yet they some of the most feared beings in the dragon world. Hence forth, I don't need my eyes to fight.

Kiba: Never thought of it like that.

Kage: If I was being honest, you were a great challenge when we first sparred. However, when I realized that your fighting style relied on your speed, I knew how to beat you. You may be fast, but you lack the strength to overpower opponents.

Kiba: I see.

With that, we ended our segment of training. I removed the blindfold and opened my eyes. Yup, everything is still in black and white.

Kage: Well at least I know I can see somewhat fine.

The world, really can be beautiful once you truly open your eyes to what it is, don't you agree. Wait... Did I just break the fourth wall?

(Author: Goddammit!!! Gotta end it here guys. Hope you liked this chapter even though it's short. Now where is the flex tape?)
