Chapter twenty-seven: Ohh la la!

Mira's Pov

I was cooking in the kitchen when I heard Wendy call my name.

"Mira! The single people are making this weird TikTok game... whoever the beat lands on has to call their crush and confess!" She said as she smiled. Her cheeks were a bit pink.

I smiled back, "Sure, after I'm done with this."

A few moments later, we were in the living room. Erza, Jellal, Gajeel, Levy, Wendy, Romeo, and Laxus were there. Romeo explained everything and started the countdown, after a lot of pointing it landed on Laxus...

Laxus's Pov

OKAY S—T. I look over at the boys who were smirking and teasing me, note that Romeo was still recording for his TikTok. If this goes wrong, the internet and house is going to be FILLED with scandals. I picked up my phone and reluctantly pressed the call button.

Mira's Pov

I was drinking water as Laxus pressed the call button. A few seconds later, my phone started ringing... WAIT WHAT? I swear, I almost spit out my water.

I picked up the phone and answered. "Okay, good joke Laxus..." I said.

His face turned red, "Mira... it's not a joke. I sorta.. kinda umm... have a thing for you..?"

I feel my cheeks heat up. I turn to look at the girls who were signaling for me to go tell him... IT DIDN'T MAKE IT ANY EASIER KNOWING THAT ROMEO WAS RECORDING ALL OF THIS.

I smile and turn back to look at Laxus, "Well you see, I kind of have a thing for you too..."

The girls squealed while the boys were smirking at Laxus. They ended up talking and getting lost in another conversation, I was pretty bored until I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I turn around to look at who it is. Laxus. "Yo, let's get out of here?" He asked.

I smiled at him, "Sure."

We walked into the backyard and took a seat in the little lounge area.

"So Mira... will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. WELL GEE, HOW ROMANTIC. Oh well, whatever.

I smile at him, "I would love to."

A few days later...

Wendy's Pov

"Natsu! Fight me!" Romeo yelled outside.

"Oh.. alright!" Natsu shouted back.

I watched as the two fought, even though Romeo did put up a good fight, Natsu won. I ran over to Romeo who was pretty beat up.

"Romeo! You shouldn't have done that! Look at how beat up you are!" I scolded.

He sheepishly grinned, "Whoops..."

I dragged him over to the couch and handed him some tissues for his bloody nose. After that, I made my way towards the kitchen to get a few ice packs for his bruises. I took a bit since I had to go up and down the stairs... I put the ice pack on his arm where his bruise was.

"Ow-" he whined.

"Come on, it's just ice," I said as I rolled my eyes.

I grabbed the controller and turned on the TV. "What do you wanna watch?" I asked.

He thought for a moment, "Ohh! What about Weathering With You?"

I smile, "Sure!"

We watched the movie, and let me tell you... I cried a whole river. Once the movie ended, I looked up at Romeo who was laughing at me.

"Not funny!" I said.

He blushed and smiled at me, "You know Wendy, this is why I fell in love with you."

I sat there and felt heat rise to my cheeks, "Wha- Eh?!"

He chuckled and played with my hair a bit. "You know Wendy, your hair reminds me of sadness. Something I don't wanna make you feel," he flirted.

"I- wait, what?" I stuttered.
