I was cleaning up in my room until I heard my phone buzz.

Hey! Just wanted to say that there's a banquet that you guys are going to tomorrow. Wear something nice! Oh and, you can go in pairs if you want ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

Seriously? I don't want to dance...

—The next day—

All the girls were getting ready in Mira's room while the boys were waiting downstairs.

"Is this my color?"

"Damn, I look sexy as s—t!"

"Hell yeah you do!"

We were complementing each other while doing our makeup and hair. Not gonna lie, we all looked like a million bucks. One by one we made our way down the stairs, the boys looked like tomatoes.

Once we got to the banquet, the couples went their separate ways. Natsu dragged Lucy to the food area, Juvia and Gray went to explore the place, Yukino and Kagura talked while Sting and Rogue were both eating, Wendy and Romeo were walking around, Mira and Laxus were dancing, and I'm not sure where Levy and Gajeel went.

I decided to talk to some people I recognized from before. While I was talking to my friend Minerva, something caught my eye...

I quickly excuse myself to 'use the bathroom'.

I ended up in a room with a fountain in the middle of it, there were a bunch of plants surrounding the place. I broke down and silently cried behind the fountain, I know this shouldn't be hurting me... but it just does. Why was I stupid enough to fall for his stupid flirty personality? Why is it that he was able to break my heart twice? Why—

"Erza..?"

Speak of the devil. He stood in front of me and lifted my chin up, his eyes widened at the sight of me crying.

"Hey, what happened?" He asked.

"Who cares, go dance with that other girl," I snapped.

He looked confused but then burst out laughing. What the hell?

"My cousin Meredy? She asked me to teach her because she wanted to dance with Lyon. Were you jelly?" He teased.

I felt my cheeks heat up, "Oh my god, I'm so sorry— we can just forget this ever happened."

He laughed and we made our way back to the main room. "May I have this dance?" He asked as he kissed my hand.

I slightly giggled, "You may."

We slowly danced to the music playing, everything seemed perfect. The song stopped and we both looked at each other and smiled.

"Erza Scarlet, I love you."

"Jellal Fernandes, I love you too."

"FINALLY!" We heard both bands yell. Everyone burst into laughter, I really have been blessed with amazing friends.
