Getting admission into Obefemi Awolowo these days take Allah's grace.
After a year of seeking admission Jameela finally got admission into the university of her dream. Today mark one of her happiest day when she would be a student in uni.
That morning she hurriedly dressed up, pack her few thing in preparation for campus life. Her brother Habeeb dropped her at the school gate, and apologized for leaving soon because he had an urgent work to attend to in his office.
Jameela entered the university with a mixed feelings. Today mark the first day of her journey to life. When she would have to face life alone. After her two elder sister got married she has been left to herself. Fatimah her bosom friend had also left home for kwara polytechnic.
Life has been a bit hard without those who care deeply for her . first was Jammal now married with two kids, although she tries to forget totally about him, but her heart won't just keep wondering to him.
'Have get over him.' she murdered to herself while fumbling with her luggage...
'Excuse me please, where is room 206?' she ask a lady passing by.
' Two blocks to that yellow building.'
'Are you fresher?'
'Yes'
'Welcome to campus!'
'Oh! Thank you.'
'You're welcome.'
'It seems you need help.' A masculine voice call behind her and she turned abruptly to see who it was.
'Anas?!' She called out in puzzlement.
'Oh Jameela!, it nice to see you after all this while. Can't believe what am seeing, Emily has grown into a lady? Anas replied with smirk.
'So you still have the gut to call me that?' Jameela said summoning anger.
'Be easy on yourself girl. I mean no harm just a friendly calling.'
'I don't like you calling me that silly name.'
'Aright I would try to change, but sincerely I love calling you that.'
'But I don't like it.' Jameela replied emphasizing each word.
'Alright ma'am, can I lend a helping hand? Anas says and bow mockingly.
'Oh thanks I would love that.'
She handled her luggage to him.
'Where to miss?'
'Room 208.'
'After you ma'am.'
'No you can lead the way.'
'As it please your lordship.' Anas said jokingly.

'Asalam alaykum, welcome to campus.!' They greeted
'Walaykum salam, thank you.'
'I would leave you ladies to get to know each other. See you around Jameela.' Anas announced.
'Thanks, I really appreciate your help.' Jameela said
'Not to mention.' he says teslim to the sisters and left.
'Did you know brother?' One of the sister inquired eagerly.
'Yes'
'Really?'
'Are you families?'
'Nope, we're family friend'
' Alright I am Mariam, standing beside me is sister Dikroh.
And here is sister Bilikis Mariam said and point to a fair lady on the bed.
Sitting at the last angle is sister Gloria.

Jameela phone ring and she pick the call from her sister Zainab.
📞'Sorry for not making your day, I wish I could follow you to the campus. But I have enough on my hand to deal with.' Zainab said with a sniff on the phone.
'Today wasn't that bad, are you alright over there? Jameela asked worriedly.
'Am not, don't let me bored you with my sad tales.'
'I would love to hear.'
'Okay if you insist. Hassan has finally left for Turkey and his wife is not making life esay for me and my son.' Zainab says in tears.
'His wife? you mean your co-wife?' Jameela asked with concern lacing her voice.
'Yeah'
'But you're both is wife and you both have equal right over him.'
'You only think so. That isn't how it is in Yoruba land. The first wife only have a say in ruling the home.'
'That is unfair I disagree, they both should have a say in ruling the home.'
'I don't even know what to do she has been making life miserable for me and my son. And my mother in law sees nothing wrong in what she does. She only ask me to be patient, but till when would that be? Am tired of this marriage already.' Zainab disclosed
' Take heart sis, all will be well bihisnillah (by Allah's will).'
'I hope so, you should learn from my mistake don't ever involve your young self in polygyny.'
'But it....
'Don't but me, you heard me right, I won't even allow it. I won't allow you to accept proposal from a married man.'
'But....
'No but, take care of yourself she said and disconnect the line.
'What is bad in marrying a married man? It depend on the man you're marrying. He shouldn't be the type that committed all his life to the first wife. And he should ensure fairness to both wives.' Jameela said to herself.
