Jammal stand beside the window admiring the stars, deep in thought.
His wife stir in bed, she stretch her hand to feel her husband, her hand touch an empty bed. She signed and yawn softly.
She got up from the bed and move to the window where she is sure he would be...
Ever since she had known him, the window side has been where he found comfort at night whenever he couldn't find sleep and when he is trouble minded.
Has he dreamt of the mysterious woman again?.
The fact that he dream about another woman other than her irritate the hell out of her, but there is nothing she could do.
One thing is to be in love with someone another thing is for him to love you back.
I have always dream of spending the rest of my life with him as his wife. Now I am his but his heart is occupied with the thought of another. I only have is body his heart is some where else.
Although he try his best to be a good husband and father to our kids. He doesn't joke with his children and he please me with all that I ever wish for. But knowing that the man you so much love and cherish had someone else in mind he love and dream about often, is something I couldn't bear.
How I wish I could change is mind, would he end up marrying her some day?.
Never, Asiyah quickly dismissed the thought.

'Jammal?' Asiyah called softly and startled him out of his thought.
'Oh Asiyah, you scare the hell out of me'. Jammal mumbled
'I did'
'Yeah'
'Why are you standing here?'
' Am unable to find sleep.
'Is it that woman again?' Asiyah said fixing her a gaze to him.
'Which woman? Jammal asked alarmed.
'The woman you usually dream about.' Asiyah shrugged
'Which woman do I usually dream about? Jammal asked taking a step close to her.
'The one you call her name in your dream.' Asiyah said fiercely
'You've had me calling someone name in my dream? Jammal says with uncertainty.
'Yeah, and who is the woman?'
'Oh... She is..em he stammer and rack is brain for what to say. You shouldn't worry yourself about that.
'I shouldn't worry about the woman my husband think and dream about? Asiyah said almost in tears.
He quickly embraced her.
'Am sorry dear I don't mean to hurt or cause you pain that why I didn't inform you about her.' Jammal whisper softly.
He swept her off her feet and place her gently on the bed.
'But... Who is she?'
'Sh! He place his finger on her lips. Don't worry yourself about that. She isn't living around here.
'Are you sure?'
Jammal nodded in reply...

Jameela walk to her hostel books in hands, a smile on her face. Today's class was really amazing she love the lecture of today unlike that of yesterday that was boring. She hum to herself as she walked.
'Asalam alaykum'
She stop abruptly at the familiar masculine voice. Without turning she already know who it was. Why does he like stalking her for goodness sake.'Walaykum salam, why are you stalking me?.
'Stalking you? Anas replied in puzzlement.
'Yeah!'
'Oh! I was going to the library and I saw you left the lecture room, so I decide to say teslim. Is there harm in that?'
'Oh! Thanks, I better be on my way.'
'I'll walk you to your hostel.'
'It's not necessary.'
'You are a fresher you need guidance, I would guide you.'
'You don't need to I would find my way. Moreover have been here for months'
Anas chuckles 'I insist'
What the hell is wrong with him? Why did he like following me around doing silly protective big brother. I don't need that am old enough to take care of myself. Jameela said to herself.
'See have being here for months, I can take care of myself and I don't need you stalking me around.'
'Absolutely, if that what you want but am only protecting you.'
'Why protecting me? Do i look like i need protection? I can care for myself am not a child.'
' Because I.. I.. care for you. He says with soothingness.
Ever since I lost Kalidah, my little sister some years back, have always sees you in her image. You're almost of the same age and she was so cute like you.' Anas replied sadly.
'Oh! Am sorry to hear that.'
'It alright, that was eighteen years ago.'
'Aw! Am sorry, Jammal never mention you losing a sister. It must be really painful to lose someone that close to you?.'
'Yeah it is. Then I was so depressed, I could hardly eat. Losing someone close to you is very painful. My mother realized it would be hard for me to cope with my sister's death she took me to her sister Jammal's mum house for vacation.
I and Jammal were doing fine he was the only son too, he needs companion and we were getting along. Although we fought a lot when were little Anas said grinning.
'Really!, I never knew you two fight. I am only aware that Jammal scolds you whenever you tease me. Jameela chunkled
'Dont mind that big jark, he is fond of bossing round.'
'Oh! Jammal doesn't boss around, he only hate cheating, anyway am sorry for being cold towards you it just that I ..'
'I know you will defend him. It alright anyways.'
They arrived at her hostel and Jameela wave him goodbye.

I have to check Jameela in school frequently to see how she is living.
Obafemi Awolowo is one of the best university in Nigeria, am happy she choose it as her first choice. But the fact that Anas is schooling there too doesn't go down well with me. Am not please with what I met the last time I went. They're getting too attached. Anas is protective of her, I should be pleased with the development but I know Anas well he could be cunning sometimes. Am suspecting the way he tease and name call her since she was little. I thought it was because of the sister he lost but it seems there is something else to it.
He love calling her Emily, although Jameela doesn't like the name but there is a speciality in the way he calls it.
Hmm I know Anas well, he must care deeply for her to warrant such name. We've fought over her once, I won't mind fighting him again for her. Or any man that cross my way to Jameela.
