World Wide Wanderer: Part 9

Looking out into the sky
Staring out into the world
Dreams are flying past us
like a train full of pearls
Trying to grab hold of them
trying so hard,
all the time hearing music
as if from a bard

What awaits us
is too long to wait for
so we grab hold of our dream
and take it offshore
Into the ocean, into the seas
as our faces are caressed by its breeze

Over the horizon
we can see nothing more
Over the horizon
there is just nothing more
No light, no sight of what comes in store

So we light the beacons of our hearts
the hope that brought us this far
In that hope, we can feel that nothing's too far
Only that we can make something out of nothing if not everything else
