When we get into the car Kakyoin had fell asleep and I tell the driver that I'm refreshed. When the driver nods we drive off.
My head still hurts when I recline my seat back, and my body is uncomfortable with my burns. Next to me Jotaro notices my distress and pops open a compartment in front of me behind the seat of the first driver, the compartment is filled with tiny bottles of things I can't read the name of. I grab his wrist when he reaches for a bottle of what I assume is Ibuprofen, "no, I don't need any."
"Dumb ass, you won't sleep without it."
"I'll throw up on you when I wake up." I reply and he sighs in defeat.
"What do you want then?" He asks me.
I think about it and realize I need my back retaped from the heat of the fight and my sweat that now peels the tape. "Do we have duct tape?"
"We have flex tape?" I scoff out a laugh whitch hurts my brain, "what's so funny?"
"No," I cover my mouth to hide my chuckles, "can you just get it," he's suspicious but pulls out a hidden drawer filled with tool supplies, "could you also get those tissue papers in there, I also need hydrogen peroxide."
When he's done getting the supplies I pull up my seat and turn and begin to lift my shirt when he stops me, "what are you doing?"
I'm confused, "I need you to change the tape?" I reply before tucking the back of my shirt under my bra like how I did with Kakyoin.
Jotaro had gotten the wrong idea, I don't know how I'd recover from that if I was him, "yeah, I knew that," he lies. Jotaro turns on the light and puts his hands on me to look closer at bloody tissue paper under duct tape, and I can only assume how ugly it looks. I hear him pull something out, "we have zip ties you know?"
Zip ties? I'm not a medic but I don't think zip ties will help, "What do you mean?"
He puts away the tissue papers, "I'm going to tape down the zip ties that will hold your wound together, it looks really good and I don't want to put tissue in it and have it scab over," he says. He sounds almost as smart as Kakyoin. "I'm going to clean it, don't yell," he says and pours Hydrogen Peroxide on it.
The cold burn makes everything in my body flex and my spine shivers, "fuck," I whimper.
Jotaro dabs the Peroxide that drips, "hang in there."
When I'm done I feel more comfortable and agile, I twist around and love the compromise of zip ties. Jotaro settles in and puts his seat belt on after putting everything away and I follow suite. "Thank you," I say.
"It's whatever," he replies in monotone.
"You know, I thought you were a mean bastard," I tell him from no where, he's curious, "but now I know that you're just an emotional bastard." He scoffs and I laugh before I offer him chips whitch he accepts.

Eventually I fell asleep on Jotaro, that night we gossiped and talked and he told me about everyone. Mr. Joestar I was told had a prosthetic hand, Jotaro isn't sure why and wasn't able to tell me, Avdol has two prosthetic arms from fighting a stand user during egypt, and Kakyoin I found out has a prosthetic spine and is missing his ab muscles form surgery, I found out that it was because of a direct attack from Dio, a shiver goes down my spine realizing the raw power he has.
When I wake we're in a garage of tanks and other extreme looking vehicles. We all get out of the car and we are guided by someone to inside the building without the drivers. We are lead through corridors which walls of glass to see what people do on the other side whitch is computer work, then take an elevator down. When we're at the last level I'm at awe. We're inside a giant room, and the car sized meteor that hit me is floating with whatever weird science levitates it behind a glass. I wonder how they got it down here but then realize they might have stand users who assisted the moving of the meteor. "Mr. Joestar," Mr. Joestar turns to a scientist, "you mentioned there was meteor debris that was extracted from Y/l/n?"
Mr. Joestar goes rigid before reaching into his bag, "Yes Doc, here," he hands the rock to the scientist. The scientist inspects it.
"Thank you, Mr. Joestar. Y/n?"
I straighten my back, "yes Doctor?"
"We have a healer stand user waiting for you, we were expecting to only need to heal the wound on your back but," he cringes at my sight, I probably would too, "there's more than what was expected.
"Anyhow, after tomorrow when you accustom yourself here, we'll have to put you through a seris of test regarding the asteroid," I nod.
"Untill then, we have rooms ready for all of you. These two are Grham and Hanz, they'll show you around, Y/l/n, I have requested for one of the nurses to bring you to the healer as soon as possible," like that Grham and Hanz lead everyone out of the room to have them settle in or go on a tour, as for me a nurse was able to show up and bring me to the healer stand user. The healer was a genuine woman who made me unconscious before healing me thoroughly.

After settling down Kakyoin wanted to walk around with me. My heart and gut fluttered and I accepted. We explored and played around the gym, kitchens, the yard, the building was like a hotel, but now we're at the top of the building over looking the sunset of the far away city. I lean over the edge and sigh, letting my stress out with it. "Hey, I'm sorry, back then I wasn't thin-"
"Don't worry about it," I say genuinely. I don't want the memory to affect my relaxation. I was given new clothing after my surgery and feel amazing, same with everyone else.
Kakyoin tightens his lips, "okay, I just feel so-"
"Shhh, I know, let me enjoy this," I cut him off agian as I close my eyes and let the breeze chill sting my cheeks.
He chuckles, "you are the weirdest girl I've ever met," he takes a sip of his cherry cola. What is it with him and cherries? He should be the weird one here.
"What do you mean?"
He chuckles again, "there's a list, but I think my favorite is how forgiving you are."
Agian? I told him to shut up. I groan, "Kakyoin, I don't want to remember-"
"No Y/n I'm not talking about just yesterday," he cuts me off this time, "I'm talking about the other night when Jotaro pissed you off but you still had a "cuddle sesh" with him," Kakyoin heard us arguing that night? I cringe at how cheesy that night was, how badly I hurt myself just by reminding myself of my misfortune, "and last night, when you were stomping off, you ended up forgiving us and came back to the car."
Kakyoin snakes his fingers through mine and my heart leaps, "I guess what I'm saying is... is that I'm grateful for you, you're kind, optimistic, forgiving," he chuckles to himself, "and single."
My face is on fire and my gut churns and it's not from the cupcakes we devoured in the kitchen. This is happening? For the first time in my life I didn't have to be anything other than myself to impress a crush.
"When we defeat Dio for good, I want to... be with you," is face is just as red as mine and I'm flustered.
"That's cool with me." He's so honest, I don't know how to reply, and when I do I feel stupid. Cool? Who says that!
His wide smile makes my heart shiver, "really?" He puts his soda down to glide his hand to my neck sensually, "are you serious? I don't mean it in a way where we're friends you know?"
"I am," I feel like we're in a choreographed movie.
He puts his forehead to mine and he smiles even wider, "thank god," he says when his nose is touching mine before he softly pecks my lips. I squeeze he's fingers into mine and his other hand travels further up my neck for him to rub his thumb on the muscle of my jaw before he bites my lip gently and continues. My gut feels like it's panicking but I let him continue.
"Ew, what the fuck?" Kakyoin and I see Jotaro.
