Ch. 32: Who eats Denny's Sober?

     I didn't realize how much room the back seats had until I woke up to find Jotaro sleeping peacefully in the back seat with me. I don't remember what we did last night until I look at his bare chest with all the marks I left and remeber everything, the way he kissed and touched me, the way he held me, the way he praised me... I feel my face get hot and feel the butterflies of embarrassment flutter in my gut and have to leave.
   I get changed, when we decided to park here yesterday it was 9 PM, we didn't sleep until around 11 PM and yesterday Jotaro was exhausted from the early morning and having his stand out for hours, not to mention the driving he did, so I let him sleep.
   I get out of the car and stretch out my legs whitch are tighter than they were yesterday and wince when I touch my toes to stretch. If I'm going to be up before Jotaro I should patrol the area, last night Jotaro insisted that he would after a tiny nap, but due to a... seris of events, that didn't happen.
   Open. And the world is stygian blue and white, for the first time I admire everything and I might be the only person who will ever see the world like this. When I bump into a light pole I go through it like a ghost does to a wall, I realize that if I can walk through things, maybe my idea that I open a worm hole might be wrong, traveling through a worm hole makes time go faster for yourself and normal for everyone else and or vice versa, so maybe I'm just stopping time to have my conscienceness wonder and look at stand users memories or even speak to their consciousness.
   When the area is clean with no flame I resume time, I can imagine the confusion when Jotaro found out about my ability, I'll tell him about it later.

   "What do you want to do?" I ask Jotato. He rubs the sleep out of his eyes and I toss him a water bottle and let him get dressed in the back seat. After patrolling the area I did some stretching and snacked while jotaro slept for another hour.
   "We should eat somewhere, for lunch and diner yesterday we ate beef jerky and energy bars, we need to get real food in us, maybe like a Denny's or something will be fine," he says.
   "Who eats Denny's sober?"
   Jotatro looks at me weird before getting in the driver's seat, I realize that Japan probably doesn't have Denny's and that he doesn't know that Denny's is best when entoxicated.

   "Check for any stand users," Jotaro asks me when we park at a Denny's.
   When I do I don't see a flame. "No stand users," I say, Jotaro acknowledges it and we both go in. God, when was the last time I've been at Denny's, I don't think I can remember because I was probably drunk the last time I went to Denny's.
   Because of Jotaro's broken English I give the waitress his order then mine before she takes our menus and leaves for our waters and breakfast.
   "So, why are we going to Wyoming?" I ask Jotaro, this whole time I've just let him drive without even wondering why we're going to Wyoming, I assumed it was to find Dio, but of all places why would he be there?
   "When I was still with the SPW foundation I over heard them discuss that Dio was at Wyoming," Jotaro says, as I thought, we're driving to meet Dio, but how did they find out?
   "How do you know that this is true?" I ask.
   He groans at me, "good greif, what's. with all the questions?" He asks. What a goddamn prick, this is my second question? Whatever, people get grumpy when they wake up I guess.
   "I want a to know for sure that he's there and it's not a trap."
   Jotaro sighs and prepares to speak, "the SPW foundation released many apon many of people to find Dio's hide out, and in Wyoming a group got awfully close and were attacked by a stand user who they held hostage for questioning, it was through that stand user that they found out that Dio's hide out is definitely there, an exact location wasn't given but we were told that Dio's a softy for art and scenery, this makes me to think he has his hide out in Yellow Stone or a national park," he tells me. I think he told me everything he had to tell me as to not have me ask him more questions whitch I understand.
   I nod and think about all the places in Wyoming that has an artistic scenery but only can only think of Grand Tenton. Wyoming is perfect to have a hide out, it has a low population, is pretty, and has lots of game so there would be no demand to go into the city to buy food. "Did the group that was attacked say where in Wyoming they were attcked?"
   The waitress brings our waters and Jotaro nods to her in thanks before she leaves, "when I evse dropped the conversation they didn't mention where," I knew he didn't get all that info by over hearing it.
   "Okay, how do we find his hide out then?"
   "We wonder around until we find it," is this dude fucking serious? Jotaro knows where he's driving to, he's seen a map and he's thinking that we can just go on a hike until we step in a trap so we can interagate a stand user?
   "Jotaro, Wyoming is the 20th largest state in America... out of 50 states,"
   Jotaro stares at me dumbfounded before he pulls down his mask and drinks more water to think about how he should reply. "I didn't think it was that big..." he replys.
   He's lived in Japan his whole life, it's a small island but on it's country's map it'd look the same size as America "okay, whatever I can't blame you, we just need to make a list of places in Wyoming that we think would have Dio's hide out, im sure there's a library or something we could go to," I say and he thinks before nodding.
   "Sounds good."

   After finishing our food I asked our waitress where we could find a library that should be open dispite corona. After she gave us a street name Jotaro and I left after paying.
   "Okay, what should I look up?" I ask Jotaro who watches over me from behind while I sit in front of the library's computer.
   ""Dio's hideout"" I'm about to slap him but he chuckles, "just look up, like, I dunno "artistic scenery Wyoming"" I start typing and when I finally enter it a seris of beautiful scenes with their names appear, "damn, if I was a Victorian evil vampire I'd live in Wyoming."
   I turn in my seat to face him, "well, let's make a list of where we'll be visiting."
