We all turned to him at once :
"What are you talking about?" asked Grace.
"The Virus! Well, it has another name, but way too scientific and complicated for me to remember. It's a..."
"Oh! You mean Izuaefhoris Qierusxilum!"
Did I forget to mention Grace was the typical brilliant student, able to remember any lesson by heart in less than fifteen minutes, knowing the class topic better than the teachers themselves and who obviously has the best grades in every single subject (even physical education) ?
"It is a disease, which started about two weeks ago in Australia. No one knows what it's coming from or how it suddenly appeared, but the few people who caught it died in less than a week!" explained Grace.
"That's exactly what I was about to say..."
"Sorry Charlie, but you have to admit that I explain things way better than you do"
"Oh yes, of course, I would not dare argue with miss know-it-all"
"Stop it."
"You wish."
Here we go again... These two never stop fighting, but it never lasts more than thirty seconds.
"Anyway, I say, why do we even care? It happens on the other side of the world!"
"Scientifics say it might spread..." added Grace
"This sounds a bit scary to me"
"To me too, what if it arrives here"
"It sounds so dangerous"
"What if we all die?"
"Okay guys stop. It's not coming here, let's relax and not worry about something happening far away. We're alive and we're safe." I interfered.
We eventually stopped talking about this quiet alarming topic and went to class, hoping to start another great year, filled with joyful moments, making the best memories for our futur...
