Ethan hadn't envisioned anything close to being in Brazil. Atleast not until his scheduled visits with avó. Not in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, on his way to visit his past in flesh.

Silence surrounded him as Nathan, Liam and Eleanor were fast asleep. He looked out the window and could see _through the clouds, faint traces of the airport.

Reality.

He wondered what was waiting in store for him. How did his life become so dramatic? Would Shaylene be the same as four years ago? Did he want her to be? Would this be some sort of closure for them? What exactly did he want?

All those questions ran through his mind as he groaned in frustration. He really needed to stop thinking. He closed his eyes in steady concentration, took a breath and reopened them.

It was time to put the act on. Sturdy.

Emily walked into the cabin at that moment and he waved her over. She took long strides towards him.

"Good day Mr. Suave. I hope you've had a nice flight so far. How may I be of service to you? " Emily chimed with a smile.

Ethan resisted the urge to correct her. He knew she was being sly but wasn't ready to pick up on any banter, why else would she sound so... courtly.

"Is there a Buizvk Times Journal on the jet?"

Buizvk Times Journal featured most of the big leagues and few underdogs of the industry. And if anything could distract him, it was it. Nothing could be more distracting than reading so called "know to's" of yourself.

He had gone through the stacks of journals on the jet but hadn't found it. If anyone could find it, it was Emily. She had been their flight attendant for years and could be annoyingly spot on. She hardly missed anything.

"No" she answered.

"Anything remotely close?"

"No" She replied, again. A small smile appeared on her face.

"Are you playing me, right now?" Ethan asked, getting impatient.

"Are we fighting?" In place of the small smile was now a full widespread grin.

"Emily." He growled.

"What's got your pants in a twist?" She asked.

"My pants are fine."

"Doesn't seem like it, though. What's it about? Tell me. I'm sure it has nothing to do with that potterhead." She nodded towards Liam who was fast asleep.

"Emily." His growl deepened in undertoned warning.

"Alright. Alright." She held her hands up in mock surrender. "I'll let you be. Whatever it is that's got you sulking definitely has to be good."

"The Journal, Ems."

"Top left shelf by your right. You're welcome"

Ethan scowled. "Don't tempt me." Emily smiled and made a funny walk out of the room. He turned to his right, opened the shelf and picked up the journal.

Minutes later, the voice of the captain echoed through the cabin.

"Cabin crew, please take your seats for landing."

Ethan sighed but didn't take his eyes off the journal. Eleanor stirred groggily while Nathan sat straight looking drowsy. His gaze swept across the room and rested on Liam who was leaning against the table with eyes closed.

Nathan turned to Ethan.

"Are you okay?"

Ethan nodded, his eyes still glued on the same page he'd opened few minutes ago.
