Chapter 36: Z City's Big Four

"Your pancakes are still hot from the oven. Do you want to eat first before the meeting? We could delay it for a few minutes" sabi ni Cale

One of the main reasons why Ashley's very close to Cale without regards is that aside from the fact that Cale would even gladly offer his life to protect the former, he's even a great cook!

Cooking: a tactic Cale uses in order to get close to Ashley. But hey, Ashley loves his cooking! That's why every time we come here at the headquarters, Ashley requests for some fluffy puffy pancakes that's specially baked by Cale. Kung hindi gusto ni Ashley 'yung luto ni Cale, edi hindi na sana pumapayag si Ashley na umattend ng meeting ng maaga. Before Cale cooks food suited for Ashley's taste, hindi mo mapapapunta ng maaga si Ashley dito.

That's why I'm not sure if we should be thankful for Cale's cooking or not at the same time

"Thanks, let's go," sagot naman ni Ashley at agad nang nagsimulang maglakad together with Cale following behind her

"It's in my office, Uno," – Cale

"Hmm," - Ashley

Natawa na ako't agad na sumunod sakanila.

I can see Cale as a puppy wagging his tail while following his master. It's adorable. Thinking about how he's actually a very blood-lusting scoundrel that everyone's afraid of. It's a complete contrast to how he usually is around someone else. Hahahaha

"See? He doesn't even acknowledge our presence because all he can see is his crush," bulong ko kay Kath dahilan kung bakit siya napa-"Hmmp"

"Stop pushing them together okay? I like Zac for that aspect of Ash's life," sagot niya dahilan kung bakit ako nabigla

Remembering the Lucifer-like gorgeous face and body of Zac together with his unbelievable intimidating aura, I shivered.

"Zac? For Ash? Are you serious?" - me

"Yeah, why not?"

"Yes, they are friends and probably closer than we think but Zac.. he's the King of Gaein Academy" sagot ko dahilan kung bakit siya natigilan at napaisip

"Well, if we add that fact into the list then I guess I'll remain neutral for now" sagot niya pabalik kaya naman natawa ako

"And the rest of the facts included on the list are what exactly?" tanong ko

"You guys probably do not know this because his name is not that recognizable. But from where I came from, Z City, ang pamilya nila ay parte ng Big Four. The noblest, the most powerful and most influential families that have been leading City Z for centuries" sagot ni Kath kaya naman nanginig ako sa bagong impormasyong narinig ko

What is this? It's like a part from a book or something.

But I think I've heard of this somewhere from someone from before. Pero akala ko tsismis lang ang lahat ng 'yon. I guess, wala ang existence ng mga rumors kung wala itong pinanggagalingan.

"That's right. From the first to last are as follows; De Verde, Sarmiento, Buenavista, Dela Vega. They are tycoons that rule Z City. The land, industries, farms, and so on so forth. It's basically a whole new world out there" napakunot ang noo ko

"Wait a sec, Za's last name is Nicholas – Zac Nicholas and none of those four though. And another one, Dela Vega? Isn't that Hannah's family name?" tanong ko't agad na siyang tumango
