Sorry I disappeared from Wattpad for a while. A lot has been happening to me. Anyway, next chapter will unfortunately be the last chapter. If you want a sequel, I can probably do that, but I have an idea for another book. If I am feeling kind, I will write another chapter after that but probably not. Enjoy chapter 17!

Ben's POV

After we exited the hospital, we went to grab a "nice" lunch with my friends. I would have dinner with my parents, who had been told that I miraculously survived a terrible science explosion, but had lost my arm in the accident. They really didn't care that I had a metal arm, just that I was alive. Erica was meeting my family that night as well, even though we had been official for a while. When Erica decided she was ready to tell the school, most people were sad, disappointed, and jealous that me and Erica were both taken. Erica told them that if anyone got in the way of their relationship, she would personally make sure a building fell on them.

We stopped at Taco Bell to meet my friends. They all hugged me, but Erica had to push them of before they further broke any limbs. I laughed it off, but I thought Chip might have been trying to break something. When we walked in, a guy was coming over to us to stay there were to many of us and that we needed to leave, but Erica shot her trademark icy glare and he conveniently forgot about us. "Erica, I haven't seen that look in like 2 months." I said, and she laughed. "Well someone changed me." She kissed my cheek, and I heard Mike complain. "How can you be out of Nacho Fries? Someone tell me how they ran out of Nacho Fries?" He whined, and, I laughed and limped over to him. "Mike chill out. They're making more." I said, and simply raised a eyebrow before they started making some.

I was so hungry, I got a Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme, 3 Nacho Crunch Double Stack Tacos, 2 5-layer burritos, a breakfast crunchwrap, 4 Nachos BellGrande, a pineapple whip freeze, and 5 Baja Blasts. When I ordered, the cooks nearly dropped Mike's Nacho Fries. The cashier, who wasn't much older than me stared at me like I just grew a second head, but I just stared right back. "What?!" I asked. "I haven't eaten in 3 weeks. I'm hungry!" I told the cashier. "Okay person that ordered 17 items for himself. We'll get right to it." He said, and walked away in a daze. Erica came up next to me and put her head on my shoulder. "Ben, your meal cost more than the rest of us combined. How are you going to eat all of that." She asked intrigued, and I laughed. "Erica, I was stuck under a building and haven't eaten a real meal in 3 weeks. I would a live cow if you killed it for me first." I said, and the cashier gave me a weird look. Erica laughed, and kissed my cheek. "Come one Ben." She said.

My food took up an entire table by itself. I kept having to reach behind my to get my food, and Zoe told me that I had Murray's soul. I laughed. "Last I checked, Murray died in the explosion. Let's hope his soul doesn't exist." I said, and everybody smiled. Alexander, Catherine, and Cyrus were sitting at another table, and it looked like Alexander and Cyrus were in an argument. Again. But it looked like Catherine was siding with Alexander, so that was good. Chip and Jawa were talking, and I thought I heard bits of flirting. I silently hoped they would get together, and so did Zoe. She was feeding Mike his Nacho Fries (which he finally got), and sipping a Baja Blast. Erica was also observing and taking in everything, and we looked into each others eyes. I pecked her on the lips, and began eating my Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme.

After Mike finished his Nacho Fries, he leaned over to me. "We need to bug Chip and Jawa. I think they might be getting together, and we need to find out." He whispered, and I nodded. "I was just thinking that. I putting my best person on it." I whispered back to him, then leaned over to Erica and handed her a bug. "I need you to bug Chip and Jawa's table undetected so we can spy on them." I told her and she smirked. "Sure thing." She said, and grabbed the bug. Even I couldn't see her until she came back. She had her phone in her hand, on mute, but she had captions on so we could hear what they were say. Basically, they were talking about the food, but occasionally throwing in a flirty comment now and then. Then the randomly stopped talking and looked in each others eyes. Then Jawa asked the crucial question. "Chip, do wanna, like, go out some time?"

Me and Mike held our breaths. We were both were shipping them so hard, but we couldn't say anything at risk of giving us away. Erica was probably shipping them as much as she would allow herself to, because while she had mastered her own emotions, she still was learning about other people's. Chip looked around nervously, like he knew someone was listening. Well, someone was. Us. Then he looked a Jawa and leaned in to whisper. "Yeah, sure. Where?" I could barely hear him, but I did. Mike looked at me and smiled. While Chip and Jawa were working out the details, Mike stood up. "Hello people, may I have your attention please." He said, and everyone from our group looked at him. "I would just like a moment to acknowledge the couple that just got together. Chawa! Congrats guys, I hope it works out." Mike smiled, and both Chip and Jawa were the color of Zoe's Wild Strawberry Freeze. "How did you find out?" Chip said and Erica simply walked over and grabbed the bug out from under their table, which made them even more flabergasted. Me and Mike were just basically laughing the entire time.

I finished 16 things before Erica finished her one. I grabbed my last Nacho Crunch Double Wrap Taco and headed outside. We just basically sitting at one of the tables, looking into each other's eyes. We kissed, and Erica smiled. "Ben I'm so glad your alive." She said, and I laughed. "Erica, so am I. Being dead doesn't sound like too much fun." I said, and she laughed to. Suddenly, her playful smile turned into a look of concern and worriment. The left side of my face felt numb, and I could barely understand when Erica was yelling at me to do something. My vision blurred and I had a sudden splitting headache I tried to speak, but I couldn't. I was very confused, but I didn't know why. The last thing I remember before passing out was the paramedics rushing in a rolling me onto a stretcher before I passed out.

Ben's life is on the line again! Some very good and very bad things happened in this chapter, and sorry for not updating in like a month. Anyway, can any of you people guess what is happening to Ben? Next update should be coming soon, but I can't promise anything. Peace!
