The storm has passed. The meadows have been fed and the sky was yet again clear. The thick fog slowly diminished, revealing the cabin wherein His Highness and his slave spent a few hours to shelter. And inside that very place, the two were huddled close together, sound asleep.
Y/N was laying her head on Prince Yeonjun's arm while the Prince himself wrapped another arm around her waist. He was hugging her close, enough for the girl to hear the Prince's soft snores.
"Hmm.." She stirred and fluttered her eyes open. "Eh..?"
Y/N sat up and held her forehead. She furrowed her brows as she tried to recall what happened. The storm. The darkness. The kiss. Everything just jammed into her mind.
"What the hell..?"
She looked over the sleeping Prince. His robes were slightly undone, his hair messy and a bruise was spotted on his neck.
"AH-" Y/N quickly covered her mouth and scooted away.
She did just give the Prince a goddamn hickey.
"Mmmm.."
Prince Yeonjun woke up and stared at the ceiling. Y/N held her breath as if the Prince had no idea that she was there with him in the first place. The Prince slowly sat up and shook his head. He spotted the hem of Y/N's hanbok thus traced his gaze up to her terrified face.
"What's wrong?" He asked, brows raised.
"Y-Your Highness!" Y/N stiffened a laugh. "I.. I.. Nothing!"
"Do tell me. Go on."
"What happened.. Earlier.. I'm so sorry, Your Highness.."
"Oh?"
Prince Yeonjun examined her anxious state and caught glimpse of a few dark and obvious spots on her neck. He clearly remembered but he wasn't even bothered at all. In fact, he was proud and satisfied.
"Don't apologize. We both wanted it in the first place."
"W-we..?"
"Was I the only one who enjoyed it, Y/N?" He smirked. "Were you mayhaps regretful?"
"No! I mean.. I.. I liked it too.." She practically slapped herself. "What am I saying..?"
