EMMAS POV

I was thinking about my memories with tae when suddenly I heard a deep, husky manly voice.

??: Good evening miss Emma.

I took out my file to check if he is someone I am supposed to meet today.

Tae POV

She took out her file, probably checking her meetings.

Emma: “good evening sir, I think you are mistaken, you are not scheduled for today, or any other day.”

She was speaking English in an Aussie accent, her voice itself is so beautiful that for a moment I was dozing off. Her accent mixed with her sweet melodic voice caught me off guard.

Her professionalism made me chuckle to myself.

Tae: I know, I am here to give u something th-

*Ring* *ring*

Emma: “excuse me.”

She picked up the call.

Emma: “did u find it??”
She said nervousness visible in her voice

After hearing of 1 min she spoke again.

Emma: “i-i don't care. I need t-that necklace. 24 hours. I want that necklace in my hand within 24 hours.”

Knowing that she was so nervous because the guy couldn't find her necklace appeared heart warming to me. She cared about my last piece of memory with her. I couldn't help a smile.

She kept the phone with a this, took her head in her hand. She brushed her soft silky and long hair back.

Emma: “im sorry, u continue please.”

Tae: “I am here to give you smt that belongs to you.”

She arched one of her eyebrow and I found it so sassy. I can't believe her smallest acts have such great impact on me.

Emma: “what is it?”

I took our her necklace. Her confused face was replaced by a surprised face.

Emma: “that's mine”
She mumbled

Tae: “I know.”

I got up heading towards her.
I stopped infront of her and held it out or her, she was about to take it when I moved my hand.

Emma: “Hey!!!”

Tae: “not so easily, there is a price to everything.”
I was ready for her to say that it's here mad use doesn't need to pay.

Emma: “How much?”
She said plainly, with a Stern expression.

I was quite surprised, bit covered it up and continued.

Tae: “$2000”
I knew she was going to do smt

Emma POV

He was asking for money, at this point I couldn't care less about money. I wanted that necklace back, at any cost.

I went to my drawer opened it and took out my credit card.
Taking it out I slapped it hard on the table with the hand on it through out.

Emma: “My credit card. Now give it back.”
He looked shocked. But covered it up quickly.

Tae: “this is not enough I want more”

I took a deep breath in the attempt to calm myself, opened my drawer and slammed hard the card.
