Months passed, Emma would come with her mom early in the morning, her mum would go in the kitchen for work. I would wait patiently until Emma's face appears in the window to go and greet her.
She would leave to go to school and comeback in the evening, and she would stay with with we until her mum finishes the work in the kitchen.
I never liked bedtime, because it was the time she kissed me goodnight and left with her mom , And I knew I had to wait until next morning to meet her again.
On weekends she would stay with me all day playing and telling me stories of angels and fairies as we roam around the garden.
We would chase butterflies hunt for dandelions to blow and pretend to fly with birds.
Whether it was sun rain snow or wind it didn't matter, we played through it all. I thought sitting down to have my meals was even a waste of time.
She never talked about her father but always talked about her grandmother and all the fairytale and stories of angels she told her. It seemed that her mum. And grandmother were her only world and now I had the privilege too.
Some nights her mum will have to do extra work and finish late, emma will stay in the library room with md reading her favorite stories, mostly fairytale, has liked princes and princesses and the happily ever afters.
Mostly I wouldn't have a clue of what she was reading, as I would just sit there mesmerized by her smile and charm. Sometimes I would rest my head on her shoulder listening to her voice as she red to me. She would gently Pat my cheeks putting me to sleep.
The night was lit bright with the silver moon and stars, We didn't even realize how quick the night came, she was suddenly distracted from collecting daises and gasped argue full moon
Emma: "TAE!! look.........it's soooo pretty" Tae:" I know" I mumbled looking at her face. Emma: "u know grandma told me the moon is special" Tae: "how?" I questioned Emma: "well, she said of u want to talk to someone who is not with you, you can talk to the moon. Than the moon will send your message as they will be able to see it too. So the moon is your special friend in the sky. That means you can speak to your mummy and she can hear it just like I speak to my daddy." Tae: "Emma ........ where is your dad?" Emma: "Erm.......... I don't know, mum said he is gone but I don't know where" The spark in her eyes slowly fading away. Emma: "where is your mummy?" Tae: "she died when I was really little." Emma: "oh!" she dropped her head down slowly. But quickly she looked up at me again. Emma: "that means she's become a star, in the sky and she might be looking at you" I snickered at her attempt to comfort me. Tae: "it's getting a bit cold let's go inside, I have to show u something." Emma: "what is it?" she said getting excited and curious. I grabbed her wrist and walked inside.
As we went in I gave her a ivory velvet box. Tae: "open it"
She widen her eyes in surprise Emma: "wow!!!........it's a necklace.........there is smt written in the corner, t.......a.......e, tae! It's your name is it yours....... wait the other incomplete heart also has something written on it......e...m...m..m...a. Emma!!! It's my name!!" I chuckled at her cuteness. Tae: the puzzle is yours and the incomplete heart is mine, my heart is incomplete without you.
She just started at me not knowing what I mean

Tae: u know there is smt special about this necklace. Of u put your locket in mind it makes a full heart which means we both will be together .....alwayssss. I held it together showing her She squealed gleefully as if I just showed her a magic trick Emma: "thank you!!" she said wrapping her arms around me Tae: "emma...... Will you promise me something?" I asked her as I hugged her gently, as if the slightest pressure is going to break her figure Emma: "hmmm?" She released her arms around me looking puzzled tilting her head. Tae: "promise me, I'll stay with me forever no matter what happens" I demanded holding her hands Emma: "promise" she stated without hesitation, twisting her pinky finger around mine. Emma: " pinky promise" she declared smiling brightly under the moonlight. ****************Time skips***************
Morning The bright Ray's of morning sun pierced into my bedroom, through the white tulle curtains. Making me a runch my sleepy eyes
I could hear a man's muffled voice passing orders in a serious tone, I instantly recognized it.
Tae: "DAD!!" I leaped out of the bed and ran down the stairs.
Dad! I screamed in joy as I grew myself in his arms Dad: oh taehyung my boy! Come here. He said as he picked me up.
After a moment of tight embrace he broke the high and looked a t me with a comserned look and said
Dad: "tae, ur grandpa has passed away, we need to go to our hometown immediately to arrange the funeral and for The other formalities." I held him right for few moments before releasing and looking at him with teary eyes He pulled me into his embrace again to comfort me. My grandfather worked really hard throughout his life to earn all the wealth mad recognition our family now possesses. After his retirement my father took over the companies and bunuoss to carry on the legacy. Grandpa wanted to love in his hometown where he started off his journey as a young man path grandma.
Time skips
Tae: "is Emma here yet?" I questioned with anticipation as the maid was adjusting my black velvet bow tie, getting me ready for our sad journey. Maid: "No young master. It's the weekend, her mum starts well at 8am today she might be here in 30 min to be exact." She answered as she opened the door for my shoe display Waving her hand at the long racks she requested Maid: " please choose the one you like young master." with a courteous smile. I pointed to my fav handmade dark brown Italian leather shoes in one hand as I hugged Toto into chest form the other. Dad: "are u ready my boy? We need to leave soon." dad said as he entered the room. Tae: "Dad can we wait for a few more min please? I want to say goodbye to yn." I requested with pleading eyes. Dad: "taehyung we r already late." he said, a little trusfrated😉 Tae: "please dad.........." I begged Dad: "ok........ make it quick" he stated path a smile. Tae: "ok dad" I said avidly waiting for her to arrive.
