"Guys, guys, guys!" I whisper-yelled running into the kitchen and saw Kentrell putting his hand on his glock.

This nigga forever ready I swear.

"My moms at the door." I told them and I watched as Sky smacked her teeth along with youngboy.

uhm yeah, they both don't like her.

The rest of the gang just looked at me confused. "So? You want us to let her in?" Kd questioned and I shook my head, no as my phone rang again.

"Shit" I muttered before looking at Kentrell. "Uhm Kentrell-" I started and he gave me a look before laughing "I ain't doing that hiding shit. A nigga did that at the age of 16 and you still want me to do allat?" He questioned and I looked at him tryna hold back my laugh.

"That was under different circumstances." I told him "This different." I added and he smirked.

"Yeah, I ain't mind to do it back then cause I'd give you he-" He started and I grabbed a banana that was on the fruit holder and threw it at him to shut him up.

"Please Trell." I begged as my mama rang the bell. "I promise I'ma do whatever you want.." I told him pouting.

I was kinda hoping he'd just do it without making me do sumn.

"Whatever?" He questioned and I nodded. "Bet" He told me causing me to roll my eyes as he walked over to me. "Where yo room at?" He questioned

"Upstairs, Third door on the left." I told me and he nodded before walking off and I looked at the gang. "y'all better not say none about Kentrell too. Y'all don't know him.. got it?" I questioned and they all nodded as Sky rolled her eyes.

"Sky, you better be nice too." I told her and she mumbled sumn while I walked towards the door.

I opened it and there she was standing in front of me with a mug. "Hey ma." I said giving her a hug and she ain't hug back.

Oh well.

"I've been standing here for more than an hour Nevaeh" she told me. "Ma stop allat, it was just 10 minutes." I told her and she shook her head looking down.

"So that makes it okay?!" She questioned.

I'm not even finna tolerate her today.

"Come inside." I told her moving out the way and she got in and immediately scrunched her face up.

"Who you have in here making all that damn noise?" She questioned and I smeared my lips before answering her.

"My friends uhh, they're in the kitchen." She placed her bag down on the table walking over to the kitchen. "All these ugly ass boys your friends?" She questioned and I saw Sky look at her like she's crazy.

"Now I know you ain't talking about them, lady have you seen yourself?" Sky said outta nowhere and I bit my lip.

"Lil guh I am not you mother an-" She started but Kd cut her off. "I'm pretty sure that she's glad you're not." He said and my mom placed her hand on her chest before gasping.

"How disrespectful!" She said before looking at me. "Are you gonna let them talk to me like that Nevaeh? oh your father must be turning in his grave!" She told me and my eyes drifted behind her and I saw 3three making silly faces behind her causing me to crack up.

"I can't believe you, you're laughing!?" She yelled and I looked back her "Ma I'm sorry but to be fair, you said they are ugly first and I hadn't even introduced them to you." I told her and she looked at me in disbelief.

"I want them out. Out NOW!" She told them and I bit my lip closing my eyes. "I'm sleeping here tonight and as far as I'm concerned, this my best friends house so sorry KAREN." Ben said and Boomer chuckled.

"If they're not gonna leave, I will." She threatened and my eyes widened. "No mama, I-I-They are really nice people. They just didn't like what you said, just calm down. Please, just get to know em first." I told her even though deep down I knew she wasn't gone like them still.

My mom never liked any of my friends. If it were up to her, I wouldn't have any. To her, everyone is fake. She didn't have any either.

She sat down mugging everyone before sighing. "Ion like them but atleast you're not with that Kentrell boy." She told me and i heard sumn fall down the stairs.

Shit.

"What was that?" My mom asked as I heard someone groan and Kd started laughing. "Nothing?" I told her but it came off as a question and she got up turning around and saw Kentrell getting up from the floor before turning around to look at me

If looks could kill..

"Really Nevaeh?! You-" She started but was cut off by the bell ringing

Saved by the bell.

I quickly made my way to go open the door and there stood Joe smiling. I ain't even notice he wasn't with the gang. He was carrying a brown and gold LV handbag causing me to chuckle.

"Is this your way of coming out the closet?" I questioned smiling and he laughed. "You got jokes I see but nah, someone came to see you." He told me and I looked back seeing Kentrell and the gang walking over then my mama scowling behind them.

"Huh?" I questioned dumbly and he chuckled before coming in and out the corner came Mama Rhonda smiling causing my eyes to widen and I ran up to her hugging her.

I don't care bout nothing else I love this woman. Mama R has forever been there for me. I'd cry to her about most things and seeing her after so many years was the best thing ever, even though I don't like her son right now and I know that my mom finna go off.

"Long time no see.." My mom said and I rolled my eyes before letting go to look back at her.

"I thought I smelt a familiar rancid odor" Mama Rhonda commented and I looked at Kentrell only to see him smirking seemingly enjoying the hate moment
