Feigning confidence seemed like the only way for her to escape such a situation without having to go through hearing an earful.

"I am sorry, sir. My friend, Chris, whom I believe you are acquainted with as the assigned P.A. for Mr. Park from the Department of Music, was running late due to his morning classes, so he only asked me to drop by his superior's cabin and hand him his morning beverage. I got engaged in a short greeting with him while I was there. He, however, has asked you to go through these documents. I assume they are papers regarding the arrangements for the fest being held a month from today."- she quickly reasoned, praying for this tension to be averted as soon as possible.

"Tsk. Tsk. Ms. Soo, you have been assigned to serve me and NOT any other professor teaching for this institution. You have been working for me for the past couple of years since your first year, I believe you should hold enough conscience to sort your priorities out. Please hold back from making such mistakes in your future."- he calmly warned with a raised eyebrow.

Namjoon observed the relatively stout female as he expected a response from the latter who stood nervous before him. He could read her like one of his literature books. Only God knew how hard he was trying from not laughing out loud at her vague attempts of feigning confidence before him. If it weren't for her feet continuously tapping against the planked floors, her hands playing with the hem of her cream sweater, or her anxious lip biting she would totally give away the idea that she was indeed very bold to stand upright in front of the one and only, Kim Namjoon.

"Yes Sir, I will keep that in mind. Your scheduled classes begin in a few minutes. I will go ahead to sort the students into your classes on time, Sir. If you don't anything , I will be taking my leave. Here are the paper works for the event. Please get back to Mr. Park on your opinions regarding these. Oh and please let him know if you are available for a meal with him this afternoon. Thank you." - she carefully dumped the heavy pile on his table before hurrying her way out the chilly room.

"Make sure to close the doors behind you-" He didn't even get to finish his sentence before he heard the loud slam of the doors.

Outside, standing amidst the vacant corridors, Soo's ringtone blared through the spacious opening. Continuing to advance towards the classroom, she peeked at the screen before realizing it was none other than the sly brat she had been eager to scream at. She hurriedly answered before it caused any more commotion and attracted all the janitors sweeping around.

"Hey there, you snick bastard!"-she answered.

"Woah! Good Morning to you too, Soo."- the voice behind the call replied.

"Wait till you get here, Chris. I will not think before tearing you apart for doing this to me, you bloody asshole!"

"Min Soo! What the fuck you screaming at me for, girl?? What even happened? I'm innocent!"

"INNOCENT MY ASS!-"

"Can't disagree with that-" - Chris snickered.

"SHUT IT YOU FILTHY PIG! I GOT IN TROUBLE ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE SEMESTER, ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!"

"Bae, I am sorry. You know I had some unavoidable circumstances, hun. I promise I'll make it up to you."

"Don't you dare shit with me saying you could be here on time 'cause you had classes! You haven't attended your classes for ages, Chris. I know you skipped work on purpose only because you wanted to cuddle more into your sheets!"-Soo-Young complained.

"Alright, Calm your tits down buddy. I'll be there soon then you can throw all the tantrums you want! Sheesh! You are such a pain in the ass."

"Wha-. Just get your ass here, you dimwit! I'LL MAKE YOU PAY!"- with that, she huffed and instantly hung up before walking into the Literature room.

"Good Morning, Freshmen! Welcome to the Department of Literacy! Wait- why are there so many of you?!"

Now, this is what you call an official start to a disastrous day...
