"The verses" Reid called out to Derek and Gideon as they walked through the doors of the station
"Found something?" Gideon says stopping to turn over to Reid and Ariana
"Uh, not answer, A question, we found the full text" Ariana says as Spencer holds out the ballad
"He's pretty much following it to a "T", at least the death side of the conversation" Spencer says talking a brief pause
"But?" Gideon says gesturing him to keep telling him
"Why didn't he leave them at the first 3 murders? I mean this ballad is 10 versus long, just on death the side- - He got plenty to work with. But if it's not part of his signature, if it isn't something that he has to do for an emotional reason, Then, I mean, Why start?" Reid says rambling on
"JJ, found out when the press ran the first story on this unsub" Gideon called out to the blonde sitting behind them
"When?" She called out
"After each victim" He told her
She nodded and picked up the phone dialing the numbers into the phone
"What are you thinking?" Derek questioned Gideon who had a slight smirk on his face
"He wasn't getting enough attention" Gideon spoke
"You know, the police departments sometimes don't even realize they're looking for a pattern" Ariana says playing with her nails
"Yeah, until somebody tells 'me" Derek said looking at Ariana
"The first story ran the morning after the fourth victim was found." JJ yelled across the room still witty her ear pressed against the phone
"The increased patrols didn't begin until after the fourth victim, either" Derek said flipping through the police report
"Yeah, the police didn't realize what was happening, he writes his verses" Gideon said getting cut off by Reid
"And everyone knows that he was there"
Elle and Hotch walked into the room seconds later
"The offender in this new attempt is a Black male" Hotch said coming in with his hands on his hips
"Black male? Cross racial, hat doesn't happen" Derek said
"What about Herbert Mullin? He killed 14 different people, of completely varying ages, races, and creeds" Reid said, Ariana shaking her head in agreement
"But there was no sexual component to his crimes, and he wore a ski mask. This attack let wore a ski mask." Elle said looking at Gideon, who shifted his attention to the pictures of the victims on the bulletin board
"Tell 'em we're ready" Gideon said, still not looking at the group
"For our profile?" Ariana said living an eyebrow at The older man in front of her
"We're gonna make Tommy contact us" Gideon says still not breaking contact with the board, walking away form the rest of the team

The unsub brought his weapons with him. Tape, Glue, wire" Gideon pauses
"He did not leave them at the scene. He took it when he left, he was a kind of killing kit that he carries' Gideon said to the group of officers and detectives in the room
Ariana stood next to Spencer in the far right corner watching as the people took notes in their notepads. Some standing, some stayed seated \
"Organized killers usually have a skilled job, likely technology related, which may involve the use of the hands. The crime scenes are far enough apart that he needs a vehicle. This will be kept, obsessively clean, as will be his home. He's diurnal, the attacks occurred during the day, so the vehicle may be related to his work, possibly a company car or truck." Hotch said to the group of officers
"We believe he watches the victims for a time, learns the rhythm of the home, knows his time frame." Ariana said
"You're not gonna catch him accidentally, he destroys symbols of wealth in the victims' homes. He harbors envy of and hatred toward, people of higher social class. He feels invisible around them" Gideon said looking across the room
"Class is the theme of the poem which he left at the various crime scenes. At one point in the poem, the women attempts to bride death, but he doesn't accept it. He says this is the moment when riches mean nothing When death comes." Reid started to explain
"the poor and the rich are exactly alike"
"So he's poor" A Detective called out from a on top of a desk"
"Probably middle-class, a decidedly lower-class person would stick out in a highly patrolled neighborhood. This guy appears to belong there. He blends in." Ariana says explaining to the man
"Why does he glue the eyes open?" A Man asked pointing to the front of the room
"The unsub is an exploitative rapist. Most rape victims close their eyes during the attack, turn their heads. For some rapists, this ruins the fantasy. for this type of rapists, The goal is more related to the victim watching him, than the act itself." Elle said stepping up to the front
" the verses, the staging, the aggressive language, 'I am Death', This is a guy who, while being in control at the crime scene, almost certainly feels inadequate in the rest of his life" Hotch started
"That's why he couldn't wait for you to figure out what he'd done, why he needed to make sure all his crimes were counted." Gideon continued
"His victims, they represent whatever it is that's controlling him, and he wants that control back. He is under the thumb of a powerful woman who frightens him. and a final point. he is white."
"We have witnesses that identify him as a black male" the detective setting at the desk said crossing his arms
"The attacker was black. He is not the Tommy Killer" Ariana spoke up pushing herself off Spencer
"Mrs. Gordon's husband came home at the same time he always does. The Tommy Killer would've known that." Hotchner added
"And Mrs. Gordon's attacker wore a ski mask. The unsub knows when he walks into a house, he's going to kill the woman who lives there. If you're not leaving any witnesses, why wear a ski mask?' Ariana added to hotch shaking her head
"And he wants the victim to see him anyway." Derek says folding his arms
"Your attempted rapist is a garden variety disorganized young man. As the victims age goes up, generally, the attacker's age goes down. Mrs. Gordon is about 60, which puts her rapist about 20." Elle says
"And it takes years to develop the level of calm and sophistication that Tommy displays at a crime scene, and rapist is far too young for that."
