"those aren't surfable waves, dude" pope told john b as they were looking at the stormy waters
"says who" john b laughed before running towards the water
"c'mon pope, we'll be alright, you're good at this" mikaela reassured him before taking his hand in hers, trying to pull him with her
"i'm not so sure" he hesitated
"pope, i've seen you tackle waves the size of buildings" she tried
"yeah, maybe hobbit sized buildings" he nervously laughed
"pope" she said, taking his face in her hands, making eye contact
"you're the hulk to my black widow, remember, you can do this" she smiled, referring to their inside joke, making him smile
"okay baby, yeah, i'm the hulk, i'm the fucking hulk, let's do this!" he yelled before running after john b, leaving mikaela to laugh
the waves were rough and even for a good surfer like mikaela, it was a challenge, but she managed to keep up with the boys
a while went by before they realized the waves were getting too rough and all decided to go home
"mickey, come down please!" her uncle yelled to her
"what the hell are you yelling abou- oh my god!" mikaela screamed as she saw her favorite cousin standing in the kitchen
"skyler! what are you doing here!" she squealed, hugging her
"my parents are on a vacation and decided to send me here for the summer" she explained as they parted from the hug
"what? seriously? why didn't i know anything about this?" mikaela asked her both her cousin and her uncle
"it was a surprise, dumbass, that's why" her uncle laughed
"okay so, first things first, please tell me there are some hot guys here, i'm so tired of the stupid boys in florida" skyler asked with excitement, making mikaela roll her eyes at her cousin. she was kind of a slut, she didn't deny it even herself
"yes, of course, i'll show you at the next party" mikaela chuckled, starting to walk upstairs back to her room with her cousin in tow
"girls" her uncle called
"please be careful, i only let you drink, because i know i can count on you that you'll be responsible" he said with a raised brow
