I live in California specifically San Diego. Most people here have a skateboard or surf, so I said heck it and got a skateboard.

I think skateboarding is super cool since my friend Cooper is really good at it, he can do so many e p i c tricks.

I have had developed a little bit of a crush for this so called skater boi, but we aren't that close so I try to push away my feelings.

AFTERSCHOOL AT Y/N'S HOUSE

I kept trying but kept falling on my ass since I easily lose my balance. I would all so put my arms up when ever I lost balance, so I looked like a bird. As I fall for the 100th time I see Cooper coming around the block.

"Oh hey y/n!" He said flexing on me with a kick flip off the railing, he pulled up in front of me and said

"I didn't know you skated"

"That's because I don't" I said getting up from the ground.

"Hmm hey, you wanna come with me to the skate park. So I could teach you!"
He said smiling, how could I say no .

"Yeah, just make sure I dont die"
"I promise you won't"
He said with a grin as we start walking towards the skate park.

AT THE SKATE PARK

"Hey Cooper wait up! Your to fast" I said as he turns around.
"Okay, so put your foot..." I stopped listening and was mesmerized by the blonde boy in front of me and his glistening blue eyes looked at me.

"Got that y/n?"
"Uh yeah"

As I pushed I adjusted my feet I was doing pretty well but I then quickly turn, and slip off I close my eyes waiting for impact. I look up to see Cooper's face, I feel his arms around me feeling my face pushed up against his chest.

"Hey you okay?" he says putting me back on my feet
"Yeah, t-thanks. I think I want to sit for a little bit" my face still pink from him catching me.
"Okay, call me if you need anything" he said with a warm smile.

I couldn't help but stare at him with amazement as he does very cool tricks that I'm not bothered of knowing the names of. He looks so majestic as his hair flows with the wind, and his eyes sparkle with the rays of the sun. My breath stops as he looks at me in the eye and laughs to himself, because of how much I looked like a mesmerized little kid.

"You ready to try again?" He said lending me a hand
"Yeah!" I say getting up and immediately tripping, giving him a smile and a thumbs up.

I grabbed onto his shoulders as he pushed me,
"Okay let go" he said speeding up.

"I don't want to! Cooper wait-!!!" I said as he pulled away, but I kept holding on to him.
"Let go y/n!"
"No Cooper help!!" I said losing balance and falling leting go of him. Then only to hold on to a fence, I could hear him laughing.

"Hey! Shut up you were the one who let me go"
"Y/n If I don't you won't learn"
"Okay, but I can't help my clumsiness"

We spend the rest of the day falling, yelling, and laughing. Honestly one of the best days of my life.

TIME SKIP

"Well, see ya later y/n"
"Cooper wait!"
"Yeah?"
"Would you want to hang out sometime" I say softly as I was getting shy
"Sure, want my number?"
"Yeah"
I say nodding, as he takes my phone and puts his number.
"See ya around stranger" he said leaving on his skateboard.
