I was at a party alone since I lost my friend. She said this was a good way to get over my previous boyfriend who had cheated on me with my "BeSt FiRenD".

I was bored and wasn't in the mood for being in a crowded room full of drunk people and loud music, so I went onto the balcony. I stared at the night sky as I hear the door open, I didn't really care so I stayed leaning on the railing.

"Oh sorry didn't know you were out here"
"It's fine"
He stood on the other side of me all so looking at the stars,
"I don't really like parties but I was forced to be here, you?"

I was a little annoyed since I didn't want to talk to this stranger, but I felt lonely plus what harm does a little chatting do.

"I-...I was invited too she told me it would help me, but all I got was a headache" he chuckled at my comment. I gave him a glance and couldn't help but smile.

"Uh I'm y/n"
"Oh it's Schlatt"
"Nice name"
"Thanks you too, so you said you had a problem?" He said turning to look at me

"You don't have to tell me, but It helps to get things out sometimes"
I turn my head to look at him,
"Is that so?" I look back at the city.
"Well I got cheated on with my bestfriend which sucks"
"You don't sound to upset about it"
"I don't want to waste my time"

After a bit of talking with this stranger I get a text from my friend saying that she wants to leave since I was her ride.
"Hey, I gotta go" I say looking at Schlatt as he says,
"It was fun talking to you wanna talk later?" We exchange numbers and I turn towards the door.
"See'ya around stranger" I say leaving.
He was pretty cute.
