My room is a mess, a real freakin' mess. I've been searching BOYISH things in my closet but all I see was pink, Hello Kitty, Domo-kun and stuff boys would not like to have in their closet. I looked at myself in the mirror. My hair, I love my curls in my hair. Pero, malapit na siyang mawala. Dahil I need to have a boy's cut since I'll be in a boy's school. Bakit ba kasi ako pumayag in the first place?! Well, it's all Jace's fault. That guy. The nightmare who doesn't just invaded my life, and my thoughts. Parang DVD na pina-playback sa utak ko. I hate him, and that smile that makes me skip breathing. Ugh!
My phone rang. It's Jean.
"Inday.."
"INDAY! ALAM MO BANG PAPASOK AKO SA SAMSON THIS SEM?!" balita ko sa kanya. And I was close to crying.
"HA? Paano? Bakit? Di ba Boy's school yun?" tanong niya, obviously my girlfriend's confused about it.
"Naalala mo yunh lalakeng sinasabi ko sa'yo? Si Jace?"
"Yeah. The guy who asked for your number. The epal but cute guy." she giggled about it.
I rolled my eyes. "That one. He's Neil's classmate and dude."
"As in? Then you're meant to be my dear. I'm sorry." she was laughing at me. I did another eye roll.
"No kidding. It's not funny. Meant to be your face." but actually, my heart felt as if it was happy with that meant-to-be thingy. "May kilala ka bang serial killer, mangkukulam or even just a gay hooker. I need to get rid of him. Bigtime."
It made Jean laugh louder. "Loka loka. Bakit naman ganyan kainit nerves mo sakanya dear?" she asked.
"Because he's the reason why I'm in this mess! He dared me to go in their school." I complained.
"And you agreed? Oh, crap." she said. "Honestly, it not his fault. It's YOUR fault. Abnormal ka talaga no?"
"Ganito kasi yun, nagSkype kami ng boyfriend mo. Malay ko bang classmates sila? And he suddenly appeared out of blue, and still want to have my number.
Kaya I told him I'm a lesbian. And then this dare came, and I have no choice but to agree." kwento ko.
"Then you agreed? It's crystal clear my dear. Baligtarin man natin ng paulit-ulit ang Earth, or magtumbling tayo ng ilang beses, kasalanan mo parin yun eh. Sino ba nagsabing you pretend to be a lesbian? Or even who told you to agree on that. You can always have NO as an answer." sabi ni Jean.
"I just did that for him to stop. But that moster still continued to invade me. Teka, who's side are you ba?" Darn.
"I'm not taking sides sweetie. I am your bestfriend. And it's my job to tell you you're wrong whenever you are."
She's right. Ugh. "So ready ka na? For your boy's school trip?" tanong uli ni Jean.
"I am not. And I will never be." sagot ko.
"Think on the brighter side. Oh, I think there's no brighter side. Your hair will be cut into 2x3, living with their stinky locker rooms. May dorm dun diba? What if you'll end up having Jace as your roommate? that's fun. And the fun part is.. you can be with the hotties 24/7! Omygee. That's so AWESOME!"
"Jean, I think you're a kontrabida today."
"I am not."
"Samahan mo kaya ako. At least you'll have more time with your Neil and your "BEAUTIFUL AFFAIR" with him." I am making a quoting mark with my hands.
"Ayoko. I'm happy being with him on weekends. Andanother thing, mahirap magpigil ng sarili." and she laughed like a naughty girl.
"NAUGHTY!"
"No! I'm just telling the truth. Seriously, kaya mo talaga?"
"Ewan."
"Don't worry. Safe ka dun. Andun si Neil diba."
"Di naman si Neil ang problema ko. Si Jace!"
"Don't think much of him. Maiinlove ka nyan, promise."
"O sige na nga, I'll have to end this call ha? I have things to do here pa. Love you."

And I was left alone again. With the thoughts of that mean, green-eyed monster Jace.
