"Do you have everything packed that you're taking onto the plane with you? You have clothes, passports, your driver's license?" mum nervously asks, causing mama, Marra and me to laugh.

"Yes, I have everything we'll need until we arrive at the house, and everything that has been shipped will be taken to the house before we arrive. I promise we'll be okay, mum," I smile reassuringly at her.

"Okay," she slowly says, searching my face for any dishonestly. "I love you both, so very much."

"We love you, too, and you too, mama," I tell them with a raspy voice, while quickly blinking away tears before they could fall.

"Now, the three of you be good for our mum's, okay?" I tell Marra, Ashton, Aiden, squatting down in front of them. "They're going to need a lot of looking after once Em and I are gone," I add in a hushed tone and a wink.

Aiden and Ashton nod seriously as Marra smirks at me knowing I'm teasing mum and mama.

"We will, don't worry, Echo," Marra promises, and the twins nod quickly.

"Thanks,"I wink at her as I stand up to grab my rolling bag and backpack.

Looking down at Emery, who has his 'Superman' backpack already on his littl back, I ask him; "Ready to go, bubs?"

"Yesh!" he cheers, fist bumping the air.

Yes, I've explained to him about what we are doing and where we're going to be living for at least the next four years. I told him that we're going on an adventure in a new country and going to be living at a new house, just him and me.

"Alright, let's go then," I cheerfully say, trying to hide the sadness that I'm feeling; since mama is driving us to the airport, we're saving our hugs and kisses for there.

"Bye mummuy, I love you and thank you for everything," I murmur into her ear as I hug her tightly.

"Bye baby and there's no need to thank me," she murmurs back, tightening her hold on my waist.

"We need to go before you miss your flight," mama sniffles with a small smile.

"Alright," I mumble, wiping my eyes free of the few fallen tears.

I've said my goodbyes to Harlee and Tyler last night - the four of us spent yesterday together, and Emery and I are coming home during Christmas break and then Harlee and Tyler are coming to Manchester for spring break, and then Em and I will be home for two months of the summer.

Mama drives us to the airport, we're Emery and I hug and kiss her goodbye before we go through security. Once we're through security, we wave and blow kisses at her, as she smiles with tears in her eyes and waves and blows kisses back at us.

We board the plan twenty minutes later, I place my rolling luggage in the over-head compartment, and we keep our bags at our feet so Emery has stuff to do. After buckling Emery and myself into our seats, I give him a couple of toys to play with. After a fourteen hour and thirty-five minute airplane ride, we arrive in Manchester, England. After exiting the plane, I use an Uber app to request a ride to our house, while we make our way out of the airport. By the time we exit the airport, the Uber driver arrives, I place our bags in the trunk and then climb in and I give the lady our address. Once she parks in front of our new home, that I bought, I pay her and then climb out to grab our luggage and dig my keys from my bag to let us into the house.

Our new house is painted a forest green color with a white front door, has 3 bedrooms - two have their own bathrooms and the third bathroom is in the hallway off the living room. The house is one level with a living room, kitchen and small laundry room as well, and the third bedroom is a play room for Emery, but will be used as a guest room when we have company.

Unlocking the front door and opening it, I say to Emery; "Ready to look around?"

"Yesh!" he excitditly says bouncing inside in front of me, as I close and lock the door behind us.

The moving company has placed all the boxes in the apporpriate rooms since I marked them as to where they went.

"This is your room," I say leading him into a red and blue room. "What do you think, Emery?"

"Awe-some, papa!" he squeals with big eyes.

Giggling at him, I say; "Glad you likt it. Let's go call nana and nanma to let them know we're here and then we'll order dinner and go to bed."

2 weeks later -

Emery and I have settled into our new home and routine - we call home every second day, I've completly unpacked the boxes, enrolled Emery into his new daycare that he attends three hours a day - two days a week until I start classes. We've met our new neighbors, I've bought my supplies for school, and I start classes for nursing in a week. I'll be attending four days a week, Montday through Thursday - Monday and Wednesday I have two classes and then Tuesday and Thuradays I have one class.

1 week later -

Classes start today, so I dorp Emery off at daycare by 7:15 a.m. to make sure I'm to the university by 7:30 a.m.; this gives me a half an hour to find my class and settle in. Sitting down on a chiar in the last row by the window, I have a clear view of everyone. As the professor starts to shut the door, a handsome man enters with a shy smile, and sits in the empty sit diagonally from me, which gives me a great view of him.
