Brianna's POV
In all honesty I couldn't tell you how nervous I was to be starting practice today with the Jay Park. Last night was simply amazing for lack of better words. We stopped in front of mine and CeCe's apartment so I could get some clothes. Not really being mindful that she still might be asleep I ended up making to much noise. "Yo, whoever in here y'all better quiet down right... Girl do you know the meaning of quiet or is that not in your vocabulary?" Looking at my best friend I knew she wasn't happy about being woken up. "My bad girl I just need to get my stuff to start practice today. Jay is literally downstairs right now waiting for me." After I said that Cierra started helping gather my things. "You have your sneakers already?" "Yeah they're in my bag." She went to the kitchen and grabbed my water bottle as well as some light snacks for when we took breaks. After we got all of my stuff together I hugged her and told her I'd message her as soon we got out for lunch.
Jay's POV
I didn't have to wait long before I saw Brianna coming back out with her bag. "You got everything you need?" "Yeah, even if I did end up waking up Cierra in the process." I couldn't help but laugh when she said woke her friend up trying to get her stuff. I shook my head still chuckling and opened the door for her. As she got in I remembered that we didn't really listen to the song last night. "Hey Bri, while we're riding to the studio I want to play the song we'll be making the MV for." "Oh yeah, we never really listened to it last night did we? I'm actually really excited to hear it." After hearing her say that I reached over her lap into the glove box to pull out the CD.

While we're listening to the song I couldn't help but look over at Brianna to see how she was liking it. She was in my passenger's seat bobbing her head along to the beat. To me seeing someone smiling and enjoying my music is the greatest compliment and seeing her do just that was even better.
Narrator's POV
As they pulled up to AOMG, Brianna noticed there was someone at the entrance trying to get passed security. She didn't think much of it until the person turned around. She couldn't believe that Rosalind was in front AOMG and making a scene at that. "Brianna, there you are. I don't know how you fucking managed to get this gig with only three years under your belt but I do know one thing and that's you're going to give me what I deserve right here, right now." "Rosalind, what the hell are you talking about? Also, why are you here causing a commotion? Mrs. Fong said that we need to professional and respect his decision. To see you doing this gives her  bad representation of what she's been teaching us." "Shut up, I should've been the one to get the lead spot in his music video and I would have if you and Cierra hadn't been chosen to be the solo acts." "Listen here 'black barbie' we probably would've been picked for anyway because we're the best even with the little bit of experience we have. You don't know my story Rosalind. You don't know the sacrifices I've made, the tears I've shed trying to help my mother make ends meet to feed three younger siblings and put them through school! So until you've walked a mile in my boots I suggest you get the fuck out of my face and take your entitled ass home." Rosalind looked at Brianna completely taken aback she had no idea that Brianna had to be an adult before it was time. Not wanting to be further embarrassed Rosalind left with her head down. Jay looked towards Brianna and put a hand on her shoulder, "are you alright Brianna? We can always start practice tomorrow if it's too much for you." She shook her head, "no Jay, I'll be alright. I just wasn't expecting to put part of my life on front street like that." He hugged her and after they let each other go they walked into the company for their first day of practice together.
Hey guys I'm back! It's been a long time since I've worked on this story, but I promise you now that I'm done with school I'm gonna try and get this thing done. I'm the next chapter we start practice and Brianna will share a bit of her past. It's a double update tonight!😄🎊🎊🎉
